Do you have or know someone who has an over-the-top, charismatic mother-in-law? Is she the“MATRIARCH”of the family,even if she gave herself that title? Is she always serving as the comedic relief while giving her two cents to anyone who will listen? Or, if you feel YOU are right for the show as the mother-in-law, feel free to submit yourself.
Figure 8 Films & Cornwell Casting are currently casting nationwide for ETHNIC FAMILIES who have the ultimate mother-in-law (45-65 years old preferred) to star in a light-hearted, non-scripted series for a major cable network. The show has a complete sitcom feel and would star the entertaining mother-in-law and her family who live under the same roof or in close proximity to one another.
Think Doris Roberts from “Everybody Loves Raymond!” The ideal family would be a close-knit group experiencing everyday family conflicts and the trials, tribulations and triumphs that come along with having an opinionated mother-in-law.
