scavenger/gonzo engineer/science junkie/robo-gadget maker/master builder/A/V aficionado/tech expert/fabricator/or have a million and one crazy contraptions you have built in your garage...?

If so, The History Channel along with Popular Mechanics is looking for you!

We are looking for someone who can host our new and innovative technical show. You must be able to walk and talk and breath with technical know how some of the above-mentioned skills (the more the better).

You will need to come to the audition with a small project/contraption that you have built/modified and be able to explain how you did it.

This is a great opportunity for engineers, scientists, gadget makers or anyone from the ''Maker'' community to show off their skills, while sharing their passion with viewers at large. You must be quirky and passionate about technology and able to share that enthusiasm with average folks.

Tech experts must be from the Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
