A major production company is casting a new docu-series tentatively titled “Marrying Up”. There is interest from several major cable networks.
The ideal candidates would be a couple that come from different socio-economic backgrounds that are recently engaged or are getting married in the next year. Big personalities are a must.
Show Description:
Throughout time, the ritual of marriage has represented not only the union of two individuals, but also the joining together of two, sometimes vastly different worlds. For some the differences may be religious, for others cultural. This new docu-series will focus on couples from varying socio-economic backgrounds as they plan their wedding. How will the differences in their upbringing affect the couple and their families as they approach the big day? Will their families even get along? Though opposites may attract, can they truly make it work?
