CASTING: AFRICAN-BORN WOMEN (MUST LIVE IN NYC AREA)



Everest Production, an Emmy-award winning production company is
casting for it's latest series. It's a talk show for women, similar to The View, but less controversial and political.  It will
air on satellite television in Kenya. However, the program tapes at our
television studios in Somerset, New Jersey. Candidates must live in the
NYC / NJ area. This is an on-going paid, part-time position, one
evening per week.



Requirements: Experience with performing in front of an
audience, be it acting, hosting, reporter, etc. Outgoing, friendly,
articulate, professional style and manor, excellent communication
skills. She should be able to talk about a variety of current affair
and lifestyle topics from celebrities to fashion to education and
politics. A strong emphasis on topics concerning parenting and marriage
(experience in both areas helpful).



Candidates MUST have been born in Africa (you will need to verify this info during the audition).
Must have highly effective on-air performance as well as the ability to
work cooperatively with others to create a sense of teamwork in the
presentation of programming. Accents are not a problem, but candidates
must speak clear English. Preferred, but not required: teleprompter
experience, speak/understand Swahili.
