Kathy Finally Gives Up On Survivor Fans VS. Favorites

It was Day 18 on the Island and Kathy made it clear to her tribe that she just couldn’t handle it anymore.  She cried about how it rained on them for 5-6 hours and said “They make it look on TV like it’s only for 30 seconds”.  I once again wondered where they found this woman!  I don’t believe she is a real fan.  What did she watch, one season?  Any avid viewer of Survivor knows what these contestants go through.  It’s never easy for any of them.  What was she thinking it would be like when she sent in her application?  A bed of roses?  Needless to say, I’m glad she’s gone.  She couldn’t take one more minute of the island and I couldn’t take one more minute of her whining and complaining.

With Jonathon and Chet gone from last week along with Kathy this week the tribes were down to an equal six.  The AIRAI Tribe consisted of Natalie, James, Alexis, Jason, Parvati, and Eliza and the MALAKAL Tribe consisted of Ozzy, Tracy, Amanda, Erik, Ami, and Cirie.

The first challenge required four blind-folded tribe members to be verbally guided by the remaining two tribe members to push these life-sized Micronesian money stones over specific tracks built that when run over, would break open a plate revealing a pair of smaller money stones to later be used in putting together a puzzle.  The reward was an Herbal Essence spa with food and showers and relaxation.  Cirie led the Malakal tribe in this challenge and Eliza led the Airai tribe.   Cirie is good at leading others so I wasn’t surprised Malakal won the reward and headed off for some much needed R&R.  Jason from the Airai tribe was sent to Exile Island along with Malakal’s Tracy.  Cirie was really funny tonight.  On several occasions she made fun of Erik and how he idolizes the ground that Ozzy walks on.

But this week it seemed Ozzy had the target on his back.  Cirie plotted to get rid of him as did Tracy and Ami.  Cirie even had Amanda, who appears to be having a romantic relationship with Ozzie, listening to how selfish and arrogant he is.

In the immunity challenge one member of each tribe had to race across a floating bridge carrying one end of a piece of rope.  Once they reached the platform they had to clip the rope onto a huge puzzle piece and hang on while the rest of the tribe cranked a giant lynch to bring the puzzle piece and the tribe member back to shore.  Of course the puzzle pieces had to be put together to win the challenge.  Ozzy played Superman once again and brought back four of the five puzzle pieces needed so the Malakal tribe had a good lead on Airai.  But they fell behind while putting together the puzzle (shame on you Cirie) and ended up losing.  It was back to tribal council for the Malakal tribe once again!

So Ami conjures up this really cool scheme to vote Ozzy out (so she thinks).  If they can get the girls (Cirie and Amanda) to vote for Erik and make them think she is voting for him too, and then Ozzy votes for Tracy (because there is no way he’s going to vote out his little buddy Erik), then Tracy, Erik, and Ami can group together to vote out Ozzy.  I’m not sure this was a well thought out plan because I don’t think it’s possible to get Erik to vote out Ozzy anymore than it would be for the reverse.  I mean c’mon, would you vote out your Survivor Idol?  In the end it was Tracy who departed the island.

So……….who says Ozzy’s not the leader of his tribe?????
