Today we participated in a conference call for Americas Next Top Model where Amy “Amis” Jenkins a 20 year old waitress from Bartlesville, OK was the 3rd girl eliminated from the show. Here’s what she had to say:

Q. How did you end up on the show?

A. Amy “Amis” Jenkins, (Americas Next Top Model): I saw there was a open casting call in Kansas so my family and I packed up our stuff and went out there for the interview. They ended up bringing me back for more interviews and finally ended up on the show.

Q. How was it during the “Meat” photo shoot?

A. Amy “Amis” Jenkins, (Americas Next Top Model): It was cold in there and I was a little grossed out about the whole thing but overall it was ok.

Q. Why do you think you are a good candidate for Americas Next Top Model?

A. Amy “Amis” Jenkins, (Americas Next Top Model): My height and I am slender so those aspects definitely help me to be a model. I have always been interested in modeling and any other outlets that might come my way because of it.

Q. What was your favorite time while being in the house?

A. Amy “Amis” Jenkins, (Americas Next Top Model): I think the best times were hanging out in the house with all of the other girls playing charades and just hanging out.

Q. Do you wish you hadn’t had worn the head band or acted more professional during eliminations? Do you think it hurt you?

A. Amy “Amis” Jenkins, (Americas Next Top Model): I don’t really have any regrets about anything I did on the show. It is my style and I just wanted to be myself. I feel my personality helped me throughout the competition and overall I feel a sense of accomplishment just being on the show.

Q. Did you think the judging was fair? What did you think about the judge’s remarks throughout the show?

A. Amy “Amis” Jenkins, (Americas Next Top Model): I think it was fair. I think they were right about some remarks but I truly wanted and took the competition seriously.

Q. Which girls did you like or dislike on the show?

A. Amy “Amis” Jenkins, (Americas Next Top Model): Obviously living with 14 girls is going to be challenging and there were a lot of different personalities. Some of the girls bickered and fought but I really didn’t cause any drama and tried not to get involved in it. Fatima and I butted heads, I just think we misunderstood eachother. I think everyone in the house has something to offer the competition. However I did make some good friends while I was in the house. Lauren is such a great representation of the all American girl and Kat has one of the most beautiful faces and is very kind and generous.

Q. So are you going to continue in modeling?

A. Amy “Amis” Jenkins, (Americas Next Top Model): I would love to pursue modeling but will take advantage of all opportunities that come my way.
