Yesterday I talked with Stephanie from Bravo’s Make Me A Supermodel. Stephanie grew up in Texas with her parents and three younger sisters. She is currently a full-time student studying art at Scripps College in California. She spends her days covered in either oil paint or sawdust from working in the painting and sculpture studios. In her spare time at home she enjoys learning life lessons from her overweight Boxer dog, Gus, and says normal people bore her. Stephanie describes herself as a loud extrovert with a hankering for art.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What originally got you interested in doing Make Me A Supermodel?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: I was doing an internship at an art gallery in New York when a friend told me about the show. I had not done much modeling, just a few shoots here and there but it sounded interesting so I applied.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What did you think of Corey, Janice, Tyson and Niki?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: I knew who most of the judges were but it was the first time I had seen or heard of Janice. Tyson really did a great job and took a personal interest in our development. If you watch other shows, some panelists are just figure heads but our panel took a general interest in our success.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Any surprises from watching the episodes once you got home?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: I was pretty aware of what my housemates thought of me and many of us got along so nothing really surprised me. What you didn’t see, was how well some of us bonded after the cameras were off. Perry and I would go out at night and a few of us would sit, have wine and chat.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: I’m not sure if you watched last weeks challenge when the cast had to go underwater to take pictures with a snake, it looked interesting. What was your favorite and least favorite challenge?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: The performance piece was my favorite. It was my day and I had ball. I think I was vocal in my online diary about which challenge was my least favorite.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: I think I missed it, what did you say?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: Remember when we had to throw our clothes into the fire? I think that was ridiculous and silly. After that happened I was like, what did I get myself into.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What about your last challenge. Was Tyson too hard on you when he said you pick and choose the shoots you want to work hard on?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: My favorite comment was when Tyson Beckford said, “what client would hire you.” He was referring to the last photo challenge I participated in when we all had to act. I think I had a bad week with acting and maybe the reasoning behind the comment was how well I did at art week since I was so passionate about it, acting isn’t a passion for me but I did try.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: It has to be hard to be great at everything. Getting back to the housemates Perry had some issues with his girlfriend regarding something about hooking up with someone while he was in AZ, did he talk about that afterwards?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: I think we all felt bad when he didn’t get a video from his girlfriend on Valentine’s day. He always talks about his girlfriend and he is obsessed with her. He was so excited to go call her but after the call I didn’t see him all night. I found him later and he was very upset. I think his girlfriend shouldn’t have done this while he is so far away.

Mark, RealityWanted.com: I guess we will see what happens to that relationship since others seemed to have changed.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Do you think it’s fair for America to vote vs. judges. Some of the prior cast told me this is more a popularity contest and some people are using the camera to be popular with America.

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: I do agree, I think Perry said it’s a popularity contest. He would know better than anyone since he is a huge personality and not afraid to show it. I don’t know if America is best judge of modeling since they can’t know what people like Corey and Janice do and look for in a model. If we were judged by the panelist we would have different outcomes.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Let’s talk about some of your cast mates. Who did you bond the most with, Holly?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: I watched the episode when she cried last night after I was sent home, then I started to cry, she is so sweet. She even told me she wants me in her wedding, she is really genuine and I think she will win and I want her to win.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: You beat me to that question, so you think Holly will win?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: I think it will be Holly or Perry.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What are your plans now that the show is over?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: Well I can’t get back into school for about 6 months so I am going to go back to New York and meet with some agencies. I am not looking to be a TV host or a big celebrity, I just enjoyed working as a model.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: So this show did change your plans a little bit since you were originally in NY for art and now you’re going after the modeling world.

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: Yes I came into this a bit leery but after fashion week a spark fired and I am going to go after it.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: I am asking everyone this question, if you were asked to pick a partner for a photo shoot who would you pick and why?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: Holly

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Who would you not want to do a shoot with?

A. Stephanie, Make Me A Supermodel: Jackie, even though our photo shoot turned out very well we both just have completely different looks.
