Remember how last week's episode ended with the promise of a twist? Well, we begin our show with the teams voting for who they would like to see eliminated. There's a three way tie between the yellow, black, and purple team.

Once the pink team's vote reveals another hit on the yellow team, they find out they are not going home immediately as they once thought, but are actually going to be pitted against the entire rest of the group. As a couple, in order to avoid being eliminated, they have to beat the entire group's average percentage of weight lost!

If they win, they choose which team gets sent home.

Picking Jillian as their exclusive trainer, Paul and Kelly move on to the reward for winning last week's weigh in. Between luxury, family, and game play, the couple chose game play, earning them 2 lbs for the next weigh in. When they are up against the rest of the teams, 2 pounds could be what stands between them staying and going home.

This week's challenge pits the teams against eachother, dangling a prize of letters from home. Racing across wobbly balance beams, the teams must get across, pick up a peg, run back, and place their pegs in a game board. The first team to get all their pegs in the board wins the prize.

Paul, having tapped into his inner zen self, slaughters the competition, performing every lap with the exception of the last one, where Kelly seals the deal, putting their final peg into place. Paul and Kelly, in a surprising move of generosity ask if they can forgo letters from home so that the other teams can read their letters instead.

Game play really took a forefront this week, with the yellow, orange, and blue teams strategizing the best way to vote off the black team. They figure if they throw the weigh in, then Paul and Kelly can vote off Mark and Jay, eliminating that threat. During all of this, Bob makes it known that he wants to be told if there is some game play going on, because he doesn't want to stand up there on weigh in day and look like an idiot.

Weigh in comes around, and the final twist is revealed. The winners of the weigh in get immunity.

    * Bette-Sue & Ali: -7/-8 = 15 lbs and 3.43% lost
    * Roger & Trent: -12/-13 = 25 lbs and 3.48% lost
    * Bernie & Brittany: -7/-2= 9lbs and 2.00% lost
    * Jay & Mark: -10/-14= 24 lbs and 4.64% lost
    * Maggie and Jenn: -3/-7 = 10 lbs and 2.10% lost
    * Dan & Jackie: -1/-2 = 3 lbs and 0.62% lost

With the purple, blue and orange teams throwing the weigh in, their total weight loss percentage was 2.81%. Paul and Kelly needed to lose 12 lbs to remain in the game.

Paul & Kelly: -9/-8 = 17 lbs and 3.39% lost, staying safe with the help of their bonus pounds.

With the black team immune to vote off, Paul and Kelly decided to vote based on who had originally voted for them. Between the Purple and Pink teams, the pink team was sent home. Bette-Sue, who is not known for holding her tongue, let it be known that sending them home was absolutely not fair, as they had never fallen below the yellow line and weren't ready to leave.

Their updates looked amazing.

Coming next week.... partners are lost, as vote offs will not be in pairs!
