NBC announced superstar and EGOT winner, John Legend will join "The Voice" in season 16 as a coach. He'll join the show in the spring cycle with fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton with Carson Dale hosting.
Legend said, "I'm thrilled to join the coaches of 'The Voice.' I've been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I'm so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL," in the NBC press release.
Legend most recently won an Emmy Award as producer for "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert" the final award win to join the exclusive EGOT club.
Season 16 of "The Voice" will premiere in Spring 2019 on NBC.
