Married at First Sight has set it's sights on Boston. Local singles, tired of their single ways during cuffing seasons, will legally marry a stranger. Yep, a stranger... a person they have never seen until they walk down the aisle on their wedding day and meet at the altar to exchange "I do's".

Helping bring the couples together this season, are psychologist Dr. Jessica GriffinThis season, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Roberson, marriage counselor. They are in charge of matching three different couples, found to be compatible based on scientific research. The experts will also help the couples during the roller coaster that is the first year of marriage for any couple, especially one with no history.

The couples will have to decide if marriage or divorce is what they really want after a short time together. They will have only experienced their wedding, honeymoon and a few weeks together when they decide if they've made the right decision.

Season 6 of Married at First Sight, Boston premieres Tuesday, January 2 at 9 PM ET/PT with a Married at First Sight: Matchmaking Special that will debut before the regular episode at 8PM ET/PT.
