After "The Voice" audtions Tuesday night, the advancing artists Simone Gundy from Team Adam, Gabriel Violett and Michael Sanchez from Team Alicia, Austin Allsup, Preston James and Christian Ferman from Team Blake, and Aaron Gibson, Darby Walker, and Khaliya Kimberlie from Team Miley answered some questions in an interview.

Preston James' audition wasn't aired in the episode Tuesday (just a clip), we learned quit a bit from him. He revealed, "when I was five years old my mom was a publicist for Miranda Lambert...And I had like a huge crush on Miranda at the time. So I still felt like I had a little bit of a bone to pick by the time I got here. But by the time I was on team Blake I was so excited."

While Darby Walker gave her blind audition, she was joined on stage by Miley and Alicia who sang with her. After the exciting experience, Darby said, "It was crazy. It was - it's one of those things the only way I know how to describe it to people is in the moment. It was the most natural feeling in the world."

When asked how she selected Team Miley over Alicia, Darby said, "I've always been a huge Alicia fan. I have the upmost respect for her in the world. I am in love with her. But there was something about Miley that felt right. In fact Miley - my first concert I ever went to was a Hannah Montana concert. So me and Miley go way back."

Gabriel Violett explains his choice for Team Alicia saying, "actually leading up to the blind auditions beforehand I was really gung-ho on Miley, I really wanted Miley to turn around," he adds, "and I just kind of started having this feeling like, you know what I - I really should be thinking about what Alicia Keys could bring to the table for me. Because that's so much more in the wheel house of what I like to sing and the kind of music that I naturally gravitate towards."

Don't miss "The Voice" on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 pm ET on NBC. More interviews to come with advancing contestants next week!
