ABC announced the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars" celebrity cast on "Good Morning America." The rumors were finally confirmed when they revealed Olympic swimmer, Ryan Lochte, will be competing on the show. In hopes of putting his Rio robbery scandal behind him, Lochte is paired with dancing pro Cheryl Burke this season.

Fellow Olympic gold medalist from USA's gymnastics team, Laurie Hernandez, will also be competing this season, and she'll be dancing with pro Valentin Chmerkovskiy. The rest of the celebrity cast and their professional partners heading to the ballroom for season 23 are:

Season 23 of "Dancing with the Stars" returns with a live premiere on Monday, September 12 at 8 pm ET on ABC.
