Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys Join ‘The Voice’ Coaches Season 11

It was announced that music superstars Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will be joining coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on Seaon 11 of "The Voice." Season 11 will begin in September and it will the first time a pair of female coaches will command the red chairs.

Miley Cyrus is currently a key adviser on the this season of "The Voice," and also served as a mentor in Season 7.

Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment said, "The musical expertise and energy these two incredibly talented women will bring to the show is remarkable," adding, "We're thrilled that they'll be joining Adam and Blake in what we know will be a magical 11th season," according to the NBC press release.

Cyrus is not only a multi-award winning singer, she is also an actress recently starring in Bill Murray's holiday special, "A Very Murray Christmas."

Alicia Keys is a 15-time Grammy Award winner with 35 million albums sold and 30 million singles. She is arguably the biggest start to ever sit in a red chair on "The Voice." This is super exciting news for both contestants and fans of the singing competition.
