Biggest Loser: Homeward Bound: Real World Problems

Two people are headed home for the entire week, one contestant from each team. No trainers, no gym, no team... and if they chose to go home, their weight will be the only weight that counts for the entire team at weigh-in. The winner in the challenge gets to decide for both teams who will go home for the week. The challenge: the obstacle course includes nets, the goal is to keep the net in the air while other people on the team race to drop in medicine balls. If the net is dropped, it's over. Team Jen wins and sends Luis from their team and Team Dolvett's Roberto. Twins competing at home. Wow. This flight home is the first time they haven't needed seatbelt extensions. That's got to say something. Get the tissues because at the homecoming we hear, "I love my dad super duper one hundred million four... I'm so proud of him." Now that the kisses are out of the way, it's time to compete but that won't be easy because there's a spread of "Mexican luxury" food. But when Bob makes a visit, the boys have a chance to stay on track, literally. Running the track, burpees, pushups, handstands (yep)... they both consider this the hardest workout they have had since being on Biggest Loser. Before they leave they do their last chance workouts at Navy Pier and Soldier's Field with no one to hold them accountable except for themselves.

Team Jen:
Erin - 199 to 196, down 3 pounds
Colby - 271 to 265, down 6 pounds
Lauren - 194 to 187, down 7 pounds
Luis - 244 to 233, down 11 pounds

Team Dolvett:
Rob - 262 to 259, down 3 pounds
Felicia - 191 to 187, down 4 pounds
Stephen - 253 to 245, down 8 pounds
Jacky - 251 to 244, down 7 pounds
Roberto - 276 to 265, down 11 pounds

Rob is automatically sent home because Team Jen won the weigh-in because of Luis' weight loss. Rob had the least amount of weight lost this week. When we see Rob at home, he is down to 226, a total weight loss of 100 pounds. He says he feels like he's 30 again. Who could ask for more?

The second challenge begins an absence of teams. From now on it is every contestant for themselves. This week the gym is closed, the kitchen is empty and the trainers are no longer at the ranch. They now have to lose weight in the "real world". They get a car to drive for the week with a list inside of things they'll need. At Jen's first workout Jacky decides to go wine tasting rather than utilize the trainer. Colby is with her because it's his birthday, but he understands that once the fun is done it's time to burn. They're not the only ones indulging during the week. Others go drinking and get piercings. They also chose parasailing instead of a workout with Dolvett. It would seem that instead of making it a choice, the adventures would be a reward for the weight loss. These contestants haven't had these opportunities in the past because of their size, now they can participate... let them.

At the last obstacle course, pulling in sandbags, the winner (Felicia) gets immunity. This causes a rift between the contestants when Luis and Roberto act out on their frustrations of not winning. Looks like the hangry side effects are starting to kick in.

Individual Weigh-In:
Felicia - 1887 to 185, down 2 pounds
Colby - 265 to 258, down 7 pounds
Roberto - 265 to 259, down 6 pounds
Luis - 233 to 232, down 1 pounds
Jacky - 244 to 238, down 6 pounds
Stephen - 245 to 238, down 7 pounds
Erin - 196 to 188, down 8 pounds
Lauren - 187 to 184, down 3 pounds

It's between Luis and Lauren and the groups chooses to send home Luis. When we seem him again at home, he's down to 203 pounds, total weight loss of 105 pounds.
