In the last moments of Vegas Week there were 38 street dancers and 36 stage dancers left in the competition. After a grueling group-choreography round of sleepless nights, arguments and high stress there where some who were asked to dance for their lives while others were sent packing. Some of which won't be able to return due to age restrictions. During the jazz choreography by Sonya Tayeh and hip hop choreography from Nappy Tabs, the groups were reduced even further. Survival of the fittest, people... those tears and fists won't save you now. 23 year old Asaf Goren may have moves and tricks, but he also has a bad attitude. After dancing for his life, he sternly argues with the judges about how much better he is than the other street dancers, proclaiming that headpins are no longer impressive in 2015. Au contraire, my friend. In a shocking turn of events, ballroom dancer Denys decides to quit the competition because he didn't feel that his style of dance was being well represented this season. More than likely he didn't want to continue without his girlfriend and partner of 8 years, Antonina, who was cut only the day before.

Ultimately only ten dancers from Team Stage and 10 dancers from Team Street are able to make the live portion of So You Think You Can Dance Season 12 Stage vs Street. Those dancers are:

After filming, one dancer had to drop out due to an injury so another dancer will be given a second chance. We will find out next week during the first live show.
