The Voice - Top 10 Performances

On last night's episode of The Voice, the remaining ten artists hit the stage. Everyone one did pretty well overall, but as usual, I have my favorites.

Kimberly, who became one of my favorites after her "What's Up" performance, opened the show with a rocked out version of Etta James' "Somethins Got a Hold on Me". Needless to say, she did a bang up job. She's like a pro already, singing and moving with gusto, without missing a single note. Some singers that have top songs on the billboard can't even do that! Meghan, a fellow powerhouse, blew it out of the water with "Home". Both she and Kimberly are amazingly consistent without getting boring.

For me, the breakout star of the night was Coryn. I'm not a huge fan of her deep, throaty voice, but her performance of Ed Sheeran's "Make it Rain" was AWESOME! She really lost herself on stage, really getting into the emotion, hitting every notes perfectly. Blake said she couldn't have done any better, and Christina called it her best performance on the show yet. I agree!

Rob and Sawyer had stellar performances as well. Both went with soulful ballads with Sawyer performing "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls and Rob doing "A Song For You" by Donnie Hathaway. Rob hit this amazing falsetto at the end of his set that was so strong and so startling, it scared Pharell. Sawyer just proved yet again how unique and strong an artist he is.

India Carney closed out the show with Whitney Houston's "Run to You" and I didn't think it was show-closing worthy. She has a good voice yes, but to pull of Whitney, you have to have a vocal range that India just does not have.

Stay tuned for tomorrow night to find out who gets eliminated!

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm EST on NBC.
