Last night the original cast of MTV's 16 and Pregnant joined us for a brand new season of Teen Mom! Fans of the show will recall that they stopped taping around the time that Farrah decided to take a different er, route with her life and filmed a porn movie. Now they're back! There have been a few changes made with the show for the fifth season - namely that MTV is actually acknowledging that the girls star in a reality show and they're letting them talk about it.The "fourth wall" has been broken down completely, and you can see the girls interacting with the producers and camera crew and even discussing how their children react to being filmed! It's been a while since we saw them last, here's whats been going on with the cast of Teen Mom OG.

 

Amber

Amber is still acclimating herself to life outside prison and working on reconnecting with her daughter Leah. She and her baby daddy Gary are not together, but they do co-parent and he was primary custody of their daughter. It seems that they are communicating better, but Amber got upset during the episode when he took Leah away for a week vacation with his girlfriend Kristina and didn't let her know. 

 

What we can expect - based on the premiere and the previews, it looks like Gary may try to get back with Amber, but she starts dating a new guy and that angers him. It will be a struggle for Amber to keep her anger problem in check as life outside prison proves to be harder than she expected. 

 

Maci

Maci is living in Tennessee with her new boyfriend Taylor and is still having a difficult time communication with Bentley's father Ryan and she is still working on getting her degree. Ryan is still pretending to be a dad, but dumping Bentley on his parents every chance he gets. Ryan has a new girlfriend (seriously, how does this guy keep getting girls? Don't they watch tv?) named Shelby who undoubtedly assists with Bentley as well as puts up with Ryan's douchery. Poor girl :(  Maci tried to make a better effort at communicating with Ryan by attempting to set up a meeting but he flat out refused to talk to her, saying he "didn't have time". Some things never change. 

 

What we can expect - more struggles with Ryan and a pregnancy reveal as Maci becomes the second teen mom from the original season to get prego with baby number two! 

 

Caitlin - 

Despite previously declaring that they wouldn't have any more children until they got married and completed their degrees (they haven't done either), Caitlin and Tyler have been trying to have a baby. Caitlin decided to take a pregnancy test while filming, and surprise, surprise, they're expecting again! Even though they haven't yet accomplished what they planned to before starting a family, they are certainly in a better place than they were when they decided to have Carly, namely they don't live with their crazy ass parents anymore. Even though they're doing better, some of their family and friends aren't happy that they weren't ready to get married and now they're having a baby. 

 

What we can expect - plenty of backlash as the public finds out about their pregnancy, the cameras rolling as Caitlin gives birth for the second time, and even some issues with Carly's adoptive parents. 

 

Farrah

Farrah actually isn't  currently on the show, but the producers do make the decision in the middle of the season to bring her back,  much to the dismay to the rest of the cast. Although she didn't have an individual segment on this episode, she was featured during Tyler and Caitlin's when they filmed a Couple's Therapy reunion. Farrah started off by attacking them for having another child but they ended up putting aside their very public differences. It seems like Farrah is remorseful for making her sex tape and wants to put it behind her. Thank gawd! 

 

What we can expect - The entire army of Teen Mom fans to tune in and see what her life is like now. I'm anxious to see as well!
