Dina Lohan is a 53 year old single mom of 4 from New York City. You may know her as Lindsay Lohan's mother. She feels she is scrutinized unfairly but considers herself honest and is ready for love. Patti feels that Dina is fragile and maybe a little high maintenance. Dina is interested in being pursued and has trust issues along with her low self esteem. As a "fixer" Patti feels that Dina is helpful but needs to start worrying about herself. She wants someone funny and ambitious and Liam Neeson is her celebrity crush. Jill Zarin is helping Patti set up her friend Dina on her dates.

During the mixer Dina is obviously nervous and doesn't know how to ask the men questions. Trying to relieve the pressure, Patti steps in and gives Dina another chance to start over but Dina quickly unravels. Patti is done with Dina's defensive behaviors and self sabotage. Dina storms out and Patti can't contact her. Luckily Jill calls her and Dina agrees to go on one date. Patti picks Mark and he takes her for a coffee and a walk. (Dina is taking it slow and learning to trust. She and Mark have already gone out again. They have plans to see each other again when she returns to LA.)

Peter Marc Jacobson is a 57 year old tv writer/producer from Los Angeles. He was previously married to Fran Drescher for 19 years but they divorced when he came out as gay at 38 years old. They reconnected as best friends after Fran's cancer diagnosis. Peter needs Patti because he is still working on how to date and how to take his love for Fran and put it towards a significant other. He's looking for monogamy, honesty and attractiveness. To help him on his journey Patti introduces Peter to Lance Bass, who she feels can guide him appropriately. Fran helps Patti find the perfect match for the mixer.

During the mixer Peter is engaged and interested, ultimately picking Jay and taking him on an Italian gondola ride in Marina Del Rey then dinner sealed with a kiss. (Peter and Jay continue to date, they have been out several times. Peter loves that Fran was a part of the process of finding Jay.)
