Instead of a mixer or a protege picking the dates Patti has set up a situation where the guys are asking questions but can't see the girls. The two men she has as clients this week are too physical and need to find deeper connections.

AJ Johnson is a 44 year old celebrity hair stylist from Chicago (Chicagolicious on the Style Network). He's here because he is friends with Candice, Patti's assistant. He has recently packed up and moved to start a new life in Hollywood and is ready to settle down. Patti's job is to shake him of his controlling ways and find someone who can push as hard as he can. His list includes tall, color doesn't matter, educated, semi-submissive (he wants the final say). Turn offs include dishonesty, bad teeth and bad extensions... he'll even kick you out of bed if your mani/pedi isn't on point.

AJ chose Melissa, a 35 year old fashion blogger with killer hair. Based on her answers she has a strong enough personality to keep AJ on his toes. Usually we have to wait for Patti to ask both parties how the date went. But this time AJ asked Melissa out on another date before the date was over and she sealed it with a kiss. When he set up the next date he then cancelled via text message. Patti was not pleased with this behavior. (AJ and Melissa have spoken several times, but have not gone out. AJ's control issues are preventing him from finding love.)

Jesse Kovacs is a 32 year old entrepreneur from San Diego. Due to his reputation being ruined from The Bachelorette this self proclaimed jokester is ready to make a new start. He started a wine label with his brother so he's looking for someone who understands that he his busy and career oriented. His must haves list includes having fun, and being smoking hot... his celebrity crush is Jessica Biel. Patti thinks he breaks hearts to keep himself safe and wants to break down his walls.

Jesse chose Kate, a bubbly model from the valley. Her answers about wanting a friendship before a relationship really stuck with him. When Patti asks Kate how the date went she's excited to hear that they have kissed and learned that their second date is already planned. (Jesse and Kate have gone out several times. Jesse is behaving himself, and letting love take its time to bloom.)
