This year Patti has Candice, her new Director of Recruiting... formerly a lawyer, life coach and actress. She has also promoted David to Director of Matchmaking. Today her clients are Larry Birkhead and Melyssa Ford.

Larry Birkhead is the 41 year old father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter. He lived in California for 10 years and now lives in Louisville, KY with his mother and his sister and her two children. He currently works as a photographer and runs Anna Nicole's estate. In fact, there may be a shrine to her in his house which he defends as keeping her memory close for their daughter. His celebrity crush is Jennifer Love Hewitt and he's looking for someone willing to relocate to Kentucky and help him preserve the memory of Anna Nicole. Patti wants to teach Larry how to ditch the shyness and prepare him for moving out of the past.

Patti sends Larry on a blind date to keep his fame from overwhelming the girl. The one chosen has kids of her own and doesn't mind relocating. On the date Larry seems to take Patti's advice to heart and assertively asks his date to dinner. She seems slightly off put by his traveling RV style but smiles a nods in agreement. Michelle tells Patti that it went well and they have set up a second date. (Larry has broken his shy guy habit and talks to Michelle several times a week... also planning a trip back to LA to see her.)

Melyssa Ford is a 37 year old actress from "Blood, Sweat and Heels". She's also a real estate agent for luxury rentals and sales. You may know her from music videos featuring Usher, Will Smith and JayZ. She despises dating and considers herself "introverted, introspective and a nerd". Her celebrity crush is Michael Fastbender, prefers any race, but he needs to be college educated, makes more money than her, wants marriage and children, and is tall. Patti believes her sexiness is holding her back and plans to "nix the vix" as in vixen. "Do they want your virtue or your vagina?"

After meeting the men at her mixer, Melyssa picks Jay, a 41 year old former overweight man who likes telling her what to do. The body image vs public perception is what they have most in common. He seems a little desperate but Melyssa tells Patti she's pleased with the results. (Melyssa returned to New York vowing to take Patti's advice. She has met a "Regular Joe" who values her brain and they are now an item."
