It's official. Bethenny Frankel has revealed her secret that she is in fact returning to her roots as a housewife in the Real Housewives of New York. We'd kind of suspected a return because the ratings were dire last season, and they really needed a boost.

However, Bethenny needs the show just as much as the show needs her these days. This will kind of bring us back to the Bethenny that we all fell in love with. It's been a rocky couple of years with the fiery divorce proceedings from ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. We're looking forward to seeing her in a positive light and pursuing her success with the Skinnygirl line. Being back in the Bravo Real Housewives franchise, it allows Bethenny to promote her business again.

Looking forward, it's a good thing Aviva is gone because imagine Bethenny unleashing on that craziness? It's a flashback to jellybean, err Kelly bean, years ago. Another interestingtwist will be the relationship we see with Bethenny and Heather Thompson. Heather is so likeable, much like Bethenny, and they both entrepreneurs, but they also have competing product lines in shapewear. Will they be friends, enemies, or frienemies?

Either way, RHONY was on the outs after last season and this should help and it makes us excited for next season. And now that Ramona has actually filed for divorce, she may tone down the craziness as well. Here's hoping!
