Tonight on KUWTK, Kourtney revealed to Scott that she was pregnant with baby number three! 

 

Kourtney had been hiding her pregnancy from everyone, including Scott! She blamed her symptoms on various illnesses and I guess no one caught on to it. Kris even brought her food, thinking she had the stomach flu!  Finally realizing that she couldn't hide it anymore, Kourtney decided that the perfect time to tell Scott about the new addition to their family was while she was sitting in a closet. Real nice Kourtney! 

 

Scott's reaction to the news was pretty bad. After a few deep breaths and failed attempts to speak, Scott finally got his word out. "You just keep suckering me into these kids. I can't handle all this responsibility," he said. Not exactly the nicest thing to say, and it got even worse when he found out she had been pregnant for weeks and kept it from him. 

 

Some people may use Scott's reaction as another opportunity to assassinate his character, but I'm siding with the Lord on this one. I will admit, I tend side with Kourtney and lament on Scott couch-like behavior, but tonight I actually felt bad for him. Kourtney has been very clear about her desire for more children, and Scott is very vocal about their sparse sex life which makes me believe that she  got pregnant on purpose. Not only is that extremely selfish, it's sneaky as well. Scott had just lost his parents, and was very depressed. I don't blame him for not wanting to deal with another baby at this point in his life! 

 

Needing to vent, Scott told Khloé about the news before Kourtney got a chance to. He elaborated on his fears, telling Khloé that their traveling lifestyle was too much with two kids, much less three! Kourt didn't really care about Scott's concerns and  was less than pleased with his reaction. "He's really depressed and saying he can't handle it. I can see him using this as an excuse to throw all responsibility away and be a wild animal", Kourt said to Kris. Well, she may be a sneaky baby mama but Kourtney sure does know her man.  True to form, Scott took a trip to Mexico to clear his head and ponder his life as Kourtney's kept breeding companion. He didn't call his family or a bit, and disappeared as Kourtney put it. 

 

Hopefully Scott comes around on this baby, it's coming whether he likes it or not!
