Tonight is all about the Power of Veto in the Big Brother house! Jocasta and Caleb are still on the block but it's Devin that remains the true target.

 

The episode starts right after BOTB and Nicole has magically reappeared...in a frog costume. As punishment for being dethroned, Nicole has to wear this frog costume for the entire week. Are they allowed to wash the costumes?! Because...if not,gross.

 

We see Caleb carrying Jocasta out of the DR and she rushes to the bathroom to vomit. Jocasta is not looking good. She says that she previously was having stomach problems and the BOTB comp was super hot. It took a toll because Jocasta is suffering from dehydration, heat exhaustion and she still has a POV comp in her near future.

 

It wouldn't be a Big Brother episode if we didn't see Caleb try to get Amber to go out on a date with him. He tells her that he threw the comp to save her and that should mean something. It means that you're incredibly dumb, Caleb. Amber reiterates that she won't go on a date with Caleb. Unfortunately for Amber, Caleb's not taking no for answer.

 

So we do get to see a bit of Cody this episode and it's not looking too good. Amber and Cody have been getting quite close this week in the house, chatting alone on the hammock and even cooking together. Now you know that won't fly with Beast Mode Cowboy. So Caleb confronts Cody saying that he feels that Amber and him [Cody] have something going on which Cody denies immediately. Cody knows that if Caleb has convinced himself that Coder (digging the showmance name) is a thing, Cody will become target number one.

 

Team America Update! The mission was to spread the rumor that Zach is related Amanda from BB15. Donny starts off by telling Nicole that Paola told him before she left that Zach is Amanda's cousin. Nicole then told Christine. Derrick told Caleb. Derrick tells Zach. Zach tells everybody...that it's true. Zach is going to take the lie and run with it. Let's hope it doesn't backfire. But Team America accomplished the mission and that's money in the bank for them. Congrats!

 

Players picked for the veto competition are: Derrick, Caleb, Donny, Christine and Devin. Of course, Devin gets picked. Of course, he has a chance to save himself. Due to sickness, Jocasta is unable to participate in the veto comp so her safety is left in the hands of others.

 

Veto comp time! Say a prayer for Devin because this may just put the nail in the coffin or send the whole house absolutely crazy if he wins. It's the BB Casino and this competition is a confusing one. Two houseguests will face off against each other inside movable dice. Comp host, Cody, will spin a wheel. Whatever number the wheel lands on, is the number that the houseguests will need to have on top of the dice when they return back to the platform. The last person standing after all the face-offs will win POV. Christine goes up against Devin for the first face-off and Devin wins (knocking Christine out of the comp). Next, it's Derrick vs. Devin and Devin wins. Then it's Donny vs. Devin and Donny wins. Finally, its Donny vs. Caleb and we see who really goes beast mode. Donny wins POV!

 

Since Jocasta was not in attendance for the Veto comp, Derrick goes right to her bedside and let's her know that he will be using the POV on her. This is really the highlight of the episode. Jocasta gets emotional and it's a really sweet thing for Donny to do. Even Cody gets in on the celebration by giving Jocasta a little dance in his comp costume. This cast is full of people with big hearts and it's touching.

 

Veto ceremony and Donny is now the man with the power. Will he flip and keep the nominations the same? Let's be real, our groundskeeper will save Jocasta like previously stated because he's a good person. And he does. Jocasta is taken off the block and Derrick has to put up a replacement nominee. Who will he chose? Will it be Cody, Zach, Victoria?! Expect the unexpected right? No. Like we expected from the beginning of this week when Derrick won HOH, Devin is the replacement nominee. The house villain is on the block and surely on his way out.
