With hopes of a Rancic baby number 2, it is sad to hear that Giuliana and Bill Rancic's surrogate has suffered a miscarriage. Giuliana had warned fans that the season finale of Giuliana & Bill would "shock a lot of people."

In a statement to E! News, Giuliana says, "Bill and I want to grow our family more than anything else, so as you can imagine we were shocked and saddened when we received the bad news," adding, ""We are incredibly appreciative of all the love and support from our viewers who have been on our journey for the past seven seasons and hope to have good news to share with everyone soon. We have had our share of ups and downs and our faith is strong therefore we know in the end, everything will be OK."

Husband Bill Rancic explains, "We experienced a miscarriage years ago when we were trying with Giuliana, so we had been keeping the pregnancy news tight to the vest," They just adore their surrogate, he says, "Delphine is amazing. We hit the surrogate lottery when we met her. Obviously this was no fault of hers."

The couple has "started to look towards the future," Bill says, "We're fighters... Hopefully we're going to have good news and Delphine will be on board one more time. We've had to battle it out and that's something that we're going to continue to do."

We'd love nothing more than to hear the news of a baby brother or sister for Duke Rancic!
