RHONY - Who Is This Girl Amanda?

There were many questions raised on tonight's episode of RHOA, (like which one of the interns told Sonja it was a good idea to do a Burlesque show?) but the most important question that everyone wanted to know the answer to was who's this Amanda person? We saw a glimpse of her last week when she was skulking around Aviva's house during her housewarming party, and tonight she managed to annoy several of the housewives without anyone really knowing who she is.

For some reason, Sonja decided to do an ill advised burlesque performance in front of all her friends. I appreciate how carefree Sonja is, but a little more preparation might have been necessary. I mean she was literally googling dance moves on her iPad, as her team was dressing her!

"What Sonja lacks in professional training, she makes up for with balls, and I think we're going to see them!" - Carole

I would have never had the courage to get up on stage the way she did, but that's part of the beauty of Sonja. She does what others never will - and with confidence. While everyone else took the cringeworthy moments in the performance with a grain of salt, that girl Amanda (that's what I'll refer to her as until we figure out where she came from) was completely rude about it. When Sonja had a wardrobe malfunction, she said in a disgusted tone "Ugh, I saw nipple." She continued to insult Sonja, laugh and snicker throughout the entire performance. Despite her hating, the show ended with the crowd on stage, having a blast and dancing with Sonja.

"Carole's just not a girl's type of girl. No, she's not, that's exactly it." - LuAnne and Aviva

LuAnne returned to the show tonight, and Aviva couldn't have been happier to have someone else to share in her Carole bashing. Announcing right away that she was in the middle of a blood bath with Carole, Aviva found herself with a short term ally. Carole knows how the game of chess goes, and she cornered LuAnne as soon as she could to make up with her about the dress borrowing incident. Check and mate Aviva, take that! Needless to say, Aviva wasn't happy.

"Why does this woman keep showing up like a bad rash every time Harry is around?" - Sonja

Somehow after having lunch with Reed, Aviva and Harry, that girl Amanda popped up at LuAnne's party. After making fun of Sonja during her whole show, she was stuck to her like glue, being so fake. Something isn't right about this girl.

Since all anyone could talk about was book gate, of course a confrontation began. Heather was trying to let Aviva know how she felt about the rumors she started about Carole, but Aviva wouldn't let her get a word in and soon LuAnne grew frustrated about the tension mounting in her home. She tried to squash all the side opinions and just let Aviva and Carole talk, but that didn't work.

"You don't want to go down this road Heather, the road of being an as*hole." - Amanda

Before long it turned into a sh**fest. Amanda, clearly inebriated tried to insinuate that Heather needed to mind her own business and then called her an a-hole. Then she made the mistake of stumbling away and at the same time muttering something about wanting to deck Heather. Wrong move! The ghetto girl inside Heather reared her head, and she went after her, taunting "oh you want to deck me? Go ahead." There's a prayer circle beginning somewhere for the poor girl as we speak...

Like the burlesque issue, the question of who Amanda is remains unanswered. We know she an "image consultant," whatever that is and she knows Aviva, but that isn't enough. What's her motive? Is she a hanger on? A troublemaker? Trying to be the next paid housewife? All of the above? We may not know much right now, but based on the previews, it looks like next week she's the girl who gets her a** beat by Heather. Stay tuned!
