After an unbearable week, the confrontation between Carole and Aviva continued. Aviva claimed that "word on the street" was that Carole had a ghostwriter for her first book. WORD ON THE STREET? What does pampered park ave princess Aviva know about the streets? Carole brought herself down to Aviva's crappy level and resorted to name calling, reminding her that she's never had a job outside and home and calling her "nothing" and even grabbing her face at one point. In my opinion, that was uncool, but what was she to do? Aviva didn't just insult her, she came for her livelihood. Carol has been writing for 20 years, has two books under her belt and Aviva thinks she can undermine that? I don't agree with Carole calling Aviva names, but when your opponent acts like a child it doesn't really leave you much choice.
Ramona, ever the trouble maker, actually regretted being "the catalyst" for the argument. Especially when she realized that all Carole really has is her work. I'd like to think that there is a good person somewhere deep, deep inside Ramona, but I think she just realized that with Avery leaving for college shortly, soon all she'll have is her work and she could be as alone as Carole is. One thing that I feel like everyone is forgetting is that the first book that Aviva is claiming was ghost written was about her dead husband! She had to suffer a lot to even write the damn book!
I was on the fence a bit whether or not to like Kristin, because that airhead tagline definitely threw me for a loop. What I've found is that so far, she's real and honest, and doesn't seem to want compromise her integrity just to stir up drama on the show. The truth is, the others stir up more than enough on their own. Although at this point she's willing to remain friends with Aviva despite the crazy that she's seen, she definitely gave her a piece of her mind. She remained honest and told Aviva that she saw a side of her she didn't like, and reminded her that Carole was the writer, not her. She even had the balls to tell her that her issue with Carole is really jealousy. Of course Aviva brushed off any idea that she could possibly be wrong and actually tried to claim she has as much writing experience as Carole. This girl is nuts!
Next week, LuAnne returns, sure to add some fuel to the fire brewing between Carole and Aviva. Stay tuned!
