Hayden and Brad of Survivor: Blood Vs. Water

Survivor: Blood Vs. Water is turning out to be quite a cold and calculated game, isn't it? Candice is already at Redemption Island and will have to now face off against her husband in order to stay in the game. Marissa is there because of her uncle's celebratory behavior at challenges, when she was clearly the strongest female on the Tadhana tribe. Behind all of it? Brad Culpepper, this season's puppet master/villain.

In the arena, Candice flips off Brad the minute she walks in and says that not only does he make all the decisions, he doesn't let the women have an opinion. John agrees that Brad is the leader but won't say that he shushes the women. Meanwhile, Marissa's all, "Can we just get to the challenge?" Players maneuver a key through an obstacle then have to put together a complicated 3D puzzle. John finished first and Candice came from behind to stay alive, while a teary Marissa threw her buff in the fire. Candice bosses John around, telling him to give the idol clue to Monica, who just tosses it into the fire. Well, that was a waste.

At the immunity/reward challenge, tribes had to row a boat, dive underwater, retrieve blocks, put those blocks together to create stairs, and complete a puzzle to reveal a combination for a key to unleash their flag. Galang got off to a rocky start but Laura's awesome diving skills came in handy to make up some ground. Meanwhile, Tadhana accidentally tipped their boat, costing them the lead. When it came down to the puzzle, Laura once again showed her daughter who's boss. Galang continued their winning stream and Hayden put it best when he said his tribe was beaten by a guy with one arm and three moms.

Instead of just voting off Katie or Ciera according to plan, Brad decides to throw Caleb's name out there. Without a loved one in the game, Brad won't have to take any heat at Redemption Island for the vote but what he doesn't get is that this game isn't all about him. At tribal, Caleb drops a bomb when he announces that he'll be voting for Brad. In one of the most shocking turn of events in recent Survivor memory, it takes two attempts at voting but Brad is blindsided right out of the game. How awkward is Redemption Island going to be?!
