Despite being enemies going into Rivals 2, Zach and Trey were able to work together and quickly establish themselves as the team to beat. Last week, though, things came to a screeching halt. Zach became frustrated with being cooped up in Thailand and the pair came in last during the challenge, automatically sending them into the elimination round. They dominated in The Jungle against Ty and Leroy, but were disqualified after not following all of the rules. Trey chatted with RealityWanted in an exclusive interview about teaming up with Zach and whether or not he wants to compete again after Rivals 2.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Going into this season, would you say that Zach had the bigger issue with you or did you have a problem with him?
A. Trey: I think that Zach had the bigger issue with me. I heard that he had said something along the lines of if he saw me outside of the show, he was gonna beat my ass. I never felt that hostile. I didn't like him, and I didn't like Frank either.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Why do you think you two had such an issue with one another?
A. Trey: Zach and I are alpha males. He was the predominant male figure on his season, just because of his sheer size. Robb is larger than I am, but I felt like I was the main alpha male on my season. You get back to back Real World seasons with those alpha males and put them in a house, it doesn't work out.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Despite the fact that you don't like each other very much, you worked extremely well together. How did you put aside your differences?
A. Trey: As much as we didn't like each other, we were both in great shape and we were both athletes. Especially in the beginning, it was about showing up, doing what we have to do, and making money. We were able to maintain a certain amount of professionalism. Regardless of our dislike for each other, money brings people together.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Your cast certainly had their share of arguments during The Real World, but it's nothing like the way people fight on these Challenges. How did you handle that drama?
A. Trey: That's a great question. I don't get as much airtime as Johnny and Frank who input themselves into dramatic situations. I'll be chillin' in my bedroom. I had Laura with me for a few seasons so I was cooped up with her and she made it easy to ignore everything. This season, I didn't have Laura or a girl figure with me. Robb was a guy I could chill with, and Wes was pretty cool after he moved into my room. We'd just sleep in late and not bother with any BS. I don't put myself in business where I don't belong.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Which team did you look at as your biggest competition?
A. Trey: No one, especially not Jordan and Marlon. If you look at them, they're in decent shape and the same size. You can look at Zach and I and he's significantly larger than I am. In certain challenges, that benefits them. If you think in the challenge where you had to carry someone, that didn't help them. That didn't help Johnny and Frank. The only other team that had that size difference was CT and Wes. CT and Wes, maybe because of their experience... other than them, I don't think there was one team that we couldn't beat. Zach is the biggest dude in the house. It's undeniable. Whether you like him or not is one thing but it's physics. He's huge.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When Zach was melting down, you kept your distance. What was going through your mind?
A. Trey: At that point in time, Zach and I... even though we were partners, I wasn't one of his best friends. He was really close with Knight and he was tight with Emily. As much as I wanted him to stay out of trouble, when Zach's angry, the best thing you can do is leave him alone. The last thing he wants is 29 people that he's not cool with telling him to calm down. He doesn't wanna calm down. Usually when you ignore people, it diffuses the situation by itself.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: The way you guys went out was so tough. How did you handle being disqualified in the elimination round?
A. Trey: I mean, that was the worst feeling in the world. To know that you beat a team by so much and really just fully anticipating going back to the house to make some power moves... we had it in our minds that we were changing the game and we were gonna scare some people. That's why people were clapping when we went home. It was a mixture of frustration, disappointment, and there wasn't too much I could do. As soon as TJ started asking questions, I kinda knew this was pointless and I wasn't going to argue. He already had his mind made up. I was pissed off. When I got to the hotel, I called my mom and had to pay for a pretty expensive phone call from Thailand to the United States.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You performed so well this season! Does that motivate you to come back again?
A. Trey: Absolutely! Battle of the Seasons, I was really unsure and I was really stressed out. How you saw Zach act with the cameras last week, that's how I felt on The Real World. It's a lot sometimes. With the stress factors, I didn't really wanna come back but after this one, that leaves a sour taste in my mouth. You never want that to be the last time people will see you. Had I lost to Johnny and Frank, I would've lost to two former champions and I wouldn't say I'd be okay with it, but it would've been a lot easier to take. That disqualification was really hard. I missed out on a good chunk of change. I want to redeem myself!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What are you up to now?
A. Trey: Actually, I'm planning a trip to L.A. and I'm gonna stop in at AfterBuzz TV and co-host there. I'm still going around to high schools and colleges and doing the public speaking thing. I'm trying to get out more. I love my home, but it hasn't proven beneficial to be here.
