The Real Housewives Of New Jersey Season 5: Episode 10 Teresa and Jacqueline

by Jessica Blackwell

To catch you up to speed on the whirlwind of changes that just blew through the cast of RHONJ, the Gorgas and Giudices are all friends now, Kathy never got to work out her issues with Teresa, and Teresa promised Caroline she would make amends with Jacqueline. Whew, I'm dizzy!

Melissa didn't want to do a billboard for the SiZZle Tans salon since Teresa had already done it, so she decided to leave that to her husband. While she focused on shooting her book cover, Joey got to partake in his favorite activity - showing off that sexy body. He also partook in some other uh, not so savory activities like drooling over the female model at the shoot and bench pressing her over his head. His actions make me wonder several things, namely how will Melissa feel when she sees that footage, and would it have been ok for her to do something similar? Basing my answer off the way he guarded his wife like a rabid Chihuahua when her male producers came to the house, I'm going to bet on a no.

Poor Rosie was still dealing with being single and alone. Rosie, Kathy, Melissa and Joey headed to a gay bar to try and find some prospects for her. They found swingers, lots of drinks and half lesbians (whatever that is) but no concrete matches for Rosie. I think she actually did get a phone number, but they way she got drunk and made a fool of her self while talking to her - I doubt the girl will call.

Albert and Caroline were still trying on the new apartment for size, but how can they get used to being alone if they are still having their kids over for dinner! What's the point in that? Over dinner with the kiddies, things got a bit tense as Caroline begged Albie, who has been working on both Blk Water and a new restaurant called Little Town, to slow down. Albert, remembering similar lectures from Caroline when he was working, snapped and actually told her to shut the f** up. I was stunned! That's the first sign of marital strife I've seen from this couple in all five seasons of watching this show. I love Caroline and Albert's marriage,  so I hope it's the last. Everybody fights sometimes, right?

After the magic on the retreat, the Giudices and Gorgas tried to get things back to the way they were prior to the feud by having a family dinner together. Milania was so excited to see her cousins and play with them and while it was nice to see the family together again, you can tell that there is still sone tension in the atmosphere. To me that's to be expected. I hope they take things slow, because nicey nice crap happened a little too fast if you ask me. You know what they say about building a house on a weak foundation...

Melissa went to Jacqueline's house to let her know that the family had all made up and that she was next on Teresa's hit list. Jacqueline wasn't really too happy about that because as she made perfectly clear to her husband, she wasn't interested in fixing things with Teresa. Melissa certainly didn't want to rock the boat of happiness so she did what an honest, upstanding sister in law would do and she let Teresa know that she told Jacqueline about Teresa's vow.

Even though she knew it was coming, Jacqueline was caught off guard by Teresa's phone call while she was spending quality time with CJ at the toy store. Like most sit-downs that have taken place on this show, they agreed to meet at a neutral restaurant - with their husbands in tow.

Even though on the last episode, Joe Giudice was ordering Teresa to make up with Jacqueline and getting all emotional about his frayed friendship with Chris,  his sincerity had clearly faded. As he was on his way to the restaurant with his wife, he called Chris a mono (whatever that is) and questioned what he would say to him. Chris and Joe headed to the bar for a drink for a mild conversation while Teresa and Jacqueline faced each other like opponents.

Surprisingly, there was no need to provide extra security at this sit down. Clearly clamber from her table flipping days, Teresa remained calm. Teresa still maintained that Jacqueline was the one who broke up her family, insisting that she and her brother and Melissa were "fine" before Jacqueline told them that she set up Melissa, which was so not true. Then Teresa had the nerve to ask  Jacqueline to apologize for claiming that Joe was cheating on Melissa at last season's reunion. Jacqueline refused to apologize for something that probably happened, so she chose to change the subject. Smart girl. The conversation left off in the middle, but it looks like Jacqueline gets emotional next week.

Next week, Jacqueline decides to get a tummy tuck, the talk between her and Teresa comes to a close, Ashley returns, and Gia confronts her Tio Joe on her opinion of the feud.
