Dance Moms Season 3

by Thea Napolitano

On Dance Moms, there's never a dull moment in the dance studio. Between preparing for the annual dance concert on their own turf in Pittsburgh, and a competitive photoshoot for Dance Track Magazine, it was a hectic week for everyone at the Abby Lee Dance Company.

Brooke had the opportunity to sing her "Summer Love" song for a crowd of over 1300 people while the other girls were given some of their old solos to perform for the dance concert. Only Paige was given a new solo to perform. You would think that it was a good thing, being that Abby would be spending more one-on-one time with Paige... wrong. Paige's mom Kelly not happy, especially since she's had a hard enough time remembering her past ones, causing some major drama.

Since Paige decided to play it safe and stick with her old solo rather than the new, things got heated when Abby offered the new solo to any volunteer who was interested the day before the concert! Since nobody jumped up for joy to take on the part, Abby volunteered... you guessed it, Maddie! Tensions flared and Kelly pulled both of her daughters from the concert and walked out, leaving the group to adjust with no Paige and Brooke in their group dance, "Sugar Babies".

Moms can dance too and all eyes were on Jill who performed a quick Tango that Abby assigned the risk-taker. After her performance, it didn't sit well that some moms went on stage to shout "GET OFF MY STAGE!" Despite all of the commotion, someone came out on top and that was Kendall. She may have not been on the top of the pyramid this week but she sure made it to the top by winning the Dance Track Magazine photo shoot as the first professional child dancer to land the cover. Thatta girl!
