Jeremy McGuire of Big Brother 15

Jeremy made a few crucial mistakes playing Big Brother this season. First, he immediately hooked up with Kaitlin, and a duo can be lethal to many players' games. Second, he aligned himself with some of the most hated people in the house, namely Aaryn and Gina Marie. Finally, not only was he a major physical threat, he constantly let everyone around him know it. All of these things combined resulted in Jeremy being backdoored on Thursday's live eviction episode. We sat down and talked to the self-proclaimed champion about his game, his showmance/romance, and what he's learned from playing Big Brother.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you want to do Big Brother? Have you been a longtime fan?
A. Jeremy: Actually, I have not been a longtime fan. I've seen a few episodes here and there, but my mom is a superfan and she's the one who pushed me to try out. I didn't really think I'd make it too far but the next thing I knew, I was walking in the door.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was your strategy going in and how did the twists affect that?
A. Jeremy: The only strategy I had going in was to win, win, win. It affected me though, the new twist with the MVP, because it scared a lot of people in the house. I thought people would have a mind of their own and vote how they felt was best. It turned out everyone was scared. They knew they had to get me out.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Do you feel you had a bigger target on your back because you were aligned with Aaryn or because of The Moving Company?
A. Jeremy: I definitely had a bigger target on my back just because I was winning everything. I wouldn't blame anybody but myself. I do know that a lot of people dislike Aaryn. She was kind of the emotional bomb in the house, but I only blame myself. The Moving Company didn't affect me because people took it as a joke. I kept winning and I was very cocky about it.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: We saw in the fight between Aaryn, Gina Marie, and Candice that you told the girls in your alliance that they weren't making things better for themselves. Did you mean that because of the racial comments?
A. Jeremy: No, I wasn't saying they were making it better for themselves because of that but I was saying it as in they're not making any friends and pushing the other side of the house further away. Now that I see how things are perceived, it's been an eye opener. I haven't seen too much yet.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You seemed to take your eviction really well...
A. Jeremy: Yeah, it's a small house and word gets around quick. I knew I was gonna be a target from day one and I just thought I could win and stay off. That's not the case, you can't win them all. I tried my best to stay in. It is what it is. I played my best and I walked out with my head high. I had enough friends to respectably tell me I was gonna be the

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You told Julie Chen that you came into the house one man and left another. What's the biggest thing you took away from playing?
A. Jeremy: The biggest thing I learned, thanks to Kaitlin, was that even though I'm great at a lot of things, I don't need to vocalize it. I can just show it.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Speaking of Kaitlin, it was a little difficult to tell at times whether or not things between you were a showmance or a romance, in your eyes. Which was it?
A. Jeremy: I'm not gonna lie, I thought I was gonna play all the girls as pawns but it turns out, she went from a pawn to a queen. I do genuinely like her and would like to see her outside of the house. She's a great person and she makes me feel like I don't need to be as awesome as I really am.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Obviously, you're rooting for Kaitlin, but who else would you like to see go far in this game?
A. Jeremy: I think Andy is a great dude. I think he's sitting pretty where he's at, he made friends with all the right people, and no one's targeting him. I guess I would have to say Andy.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was your favorite part of the game?
A. Jeremy: The best part, for me, was no doubt all the challenges. I love pushing myself and I love to win. That's no secret, obviously.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: I'd bet that you're praying that there's another twist coming and you get a shot to return to the Big Brother house.
A. Jeremy: Oh my gosh, I have my fingers and toes crossed that I get to come back to the game! I would come back in winning, but I would be a little more gracious about it.
