The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Season 5

by Jessica Blackwell

Tonight was the last installment of he RHOA reunion and boyyy did things get messy! Here's how it all went down:

Kandi had a few choice words for her haters when a viewer wrote in and said that God and sex toys didn't mix. She brought up an interesting point, firing back, asking if people want her to hide the fact that she prays. I personally love her gospel song, and to each his own. With all the millions she's sitting on, I would say that she's doing something right!

Andy asked Kenya about all the drama that came up during the season when Walter claimed that Kenya hired him to play her boyfriend on the show. She denied those accusations, claiming that she was dating Walter before she was asked to come on the show and that they just started communicating more when she knew she was moving to Atlanta.  Sounds a little fishy to me, because they were living in separate cities at the time. How do you date someone that lives across the country? All the ladies admitted that they thought the relationship was fake and so did the men.

When the men hit the stage, things really got heated. Walter wasn't invited to the reunion, which was totally messed up, because he had so much to defend himself against. Kordell wasn't there either, Porsha claimed he had to work but we all know that he didn't show up because their marriage was on the rocks. Kenya spent so much time bad-mouthing Walter, and most likely made sure he couldn't refute any of her claims, but his boys were more than willing to defend his honor. Apollo and Peter weren't going to let Kenya get away with her smear campaign against Walter anymore. Rather than answer any of the valid questions raised by them however, she twirled around the stage and sang her awful single "Gone With the Wind Fabulous" to herself. Can you blame Greg for saying she needs medication?

When Apollo said that he didn't particularly cared for Kenya, she responded with the jaw dropping line "why don't you stop texting me then?". Whaaaattt? After that, it became a war of words, both of them sparring back and forth over who said what to whom. Everyone on the stage got really uncomfortable, and Phaedra just sat there, sulking with her huge belly. Kenya was pissed off that Phaedra called her a whore, but she was acting like one! If Apollo really was texting her, then why did she answer? He's a married man! Then she came at Phaedra, saying she was really the whore because she had sex with a convicted felon when he was straight out of jail, and got pregnant. That may have been a bad decision, but it doesn't make her a whore. Kenya was passing her phone around, showing everyone the texts, I wish I could have seen them!

I thought that scene was hard to watch, but watching Porsha defend her marriage so strongly was brutal! As we all know, Kordell filed for divorce just days after they taped this reunion. She went on a very long winded rant, accusing the ladies of tearing her down, when they should have lifted her up. She looked up to all the ladies and felt like they should have shown her more support. NeNe and Cynthia let her know that everyone goes through first season and she would just have to stick it out. After she was done being emotional, she got to showcase her singing voice, which if you remember, she said was a mixture of Mary J Blige and Beyoncé. Well, she didn't sound as good as all that, but she sure can carry a tune!

With all the housewives signed on for next season, I can hardly wait!  I wonder what Porsha is going to do without Kordell and how much of the drama the cameras will catch? Will Phaedra and Apollo last? Will NeNe and Greg make it to the altar? I guess we'll just have to stay tuned!
