"Every woman talks about the movie Pretty Woman, where Richard Gere treats Julia Roberts to whatever she wants, and here we are living out this fantasy!" - Sean
Okay, I actually don't know any women at all, in 2013, that still aspire (or ever aspired) to be a prostitute that is hired by a rich businessman. Furthermore, I don't know any men that are happy to sit in a clothing store and watch their girlfriend or wife try on a multitude of dresses but hey, if The Bachelor says this is what couples do, then I'll go along for the ride.
When Leslie H finds out that she's finally getting a one on one date with Sean, she couldn't be happier. With gifted earrings, a shopping trip that lets us know Sean has no taste in women's dresses, and a romantic dinner, she is most definitely on cloud nine. Hey, remember that part of Pretty Woman where Richard Gere tells Julia Roberts that he has no attraction to her, makes her give back her jewelry right then and there, and sends her home in a limo? Hmm, must've been the alternate ending that Sean watched on the limited edition Blu-Ray.
As he walked her out, Leslie turned around and asked if he really had no romantic feelings towards her. He really doesn't. As she sheds tears of embarrassment (understandably) on the way home, Sean is treated to a concert for one by musician Ben Taylor. Note, this is the same person who took a group of girls out on a roller derby date, full of tears and injuries. This week's choices for outings were definitely epic fails. In fact, the only sensible thing Sean did all week was send Amanda packing, which Desiree is probably STILL doing a happy dance about!
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
