All The Right Moves: Episode 3 Recap

The guys have a big show coming up this week on All The Right Moves and they want to use the picture frame idea from their photo shoot with Dance Spirit magazine and feature Kyle as a principal dancer. Taja will be the female lead, but only because Jaimie is injured. Teddy is thinking that it would be good to incorporate hip hop into the show but Travis and Nick are against it. Nick calls them all mediocre hip hop dancers, which Teddy is really offended by. Who knew Teddy (felt he was) such a serious hip hop performer?

Travis choreographs quite a sexy piece, definitely racier than anything we'd ever see on the usually wholesome SYTYCD. Once again, Taja is late for rehearsal so Kyle's girlfriend Noelle (season 6 alum) steps in in the meantime. When Taja finally arrives, she wanders around the stage, complaining that she doesn't know what's going on. Uh YEAH, ‘cause you were LATE. Travis confronts her about her attitude afterwards and she's totally rude yet again. I don't even understand how these two are friends, considering how terribly she treats him. I'm amazed she even gets work. Nick finally steps in and tells them both to knock it off and calls her a bitch, causing her to storm off and quit. Bye.

During a night out at the bar, Noelle confesses to Teddy that she has feelings for him and the two end up kissing. That's definitely not going to go over well with Kyle when he finds out. Nick has his own little late night rendezvous and did an amazing walk of shame back to the house afterwards.

Teddy brings Nick and Kyle to a hip hop class taught by Bryan Tanaka. While Nick struggles to feel confident in the class, Teddy does every move full out, clearly trying to prove that hip hop belongs in the upcoming Shaping Sound show. Each of the founding members will have a solo in the show, which really concerns Travis. He choreographs now, and doesn't perform anymore, so he's worried about being up on the stage by himself. Nick encourages him to face his fear, but Travis says he will only if Nick faces his - riding a bike. Yes, you read that right. Nick Lazzarini is 28 years old and is afraid of riding a bike. The segment where Travis gets him to ride for the first time was pretty hilarious.

Taja meets up with her sisters to tell them that she quit Shaping Sound but they don't seem so on board with her decision. Here Taja has been, saying how much pressure she feels to be there for her sisters, and they're like, "What are you doing?" This girl is full of excuses. The girls tell Taja that she needs to think it over and I have a feeling it's not the last we've seen of her.

You may remember that Kyle came out to L.A. under the assumption he was going to be a founding member of Shaping Sound, only to find out that he was just one of the ensemble dancers in the company. He's feeling pretty lost and secluded and expresses that to Teddy, who decides now is a great time to tell him he kissed Noelle. NOW?!
