Big Brother 14

Last night's eviction episode of Big Brother may go down as one of the best in history. In fact, it was so good that I immediately signed up for the live feeds to see what happened next! But, back to the beginning... Frank has pulled himself off the block, and Jenn now sits beside Boogie, which doesn't bode too well for the co-founder of Chilltown.

Of course, he's upset because he knows he's going home. What threat does the rocker chick who can't strategize or win anything to save her life have compared to one of the great players to ever enter the Big Brother house? In the kitchen after the veto ceremony, Shane makes a feeble attempt at an apology but Frank tells him to stuff his sorries in a sock. They're convinced that Dan is behind this week's plan so they talk about him when he's perfectly within earshot as an attempt to rile him up. But one of Dan's greatest attributes as a player is his ability to keep his emotions in check so he takes all of the heat, while Ian sits quietly by.

Jenn goes to each of the houseguests, but doesn't really make a play to stay as much as complain about Shane's decision. I mean, she can say that she's fired up and a wild card but you can't just decide that SUDDENLY you're a useful player to have on someone's side because your butt is on the line.

We gotta get right to the eviction because another houseguest will be leaving before the night is over. That's right, we're playing a whole week's worth of Big Brother in one night! Jenn delivers a forgettable speech (don't worry because an amazing one is coming later on) while Boogie thanks his business partner, says hi to his son, asks Joe for a vote, and finishes with something like, "Mic check, one two, one two. Boogie out!" and flops back down, proud of himself.

By a 5-2 vote, Boogie is evicted from the Big Brother house and he immediately knows it was Ian who turned on him. Well, Ian gave himself away by letting him know that he was going to see things he didn't like. Why say anything at all? Before Boogie left, he let Frank know not to trust Ian - OBVIOUSLY.

The HOH competition is a Before/After quiz which seems made for the coaches, who understand the challenge better than anyone, or a superfan like Ian. He made it to the end with Britney and Daniele and ended up winning power (for least a few minutes). Before announcing nominations, he pulled Joe into the arcade room and tried to be a tough guy, demanding safety in exchange for keeping him off the block. Ian nominates showmancers Frank and Ashley, and we head right to the POV competition outside.

Who can forget the POV competition from last season, with Jeff and the damn clown shoe? This time around, they're searching for four leaf clovers in a ball pit and Ian gets off to a hell of start! He actually looked athletic there for a moment! But it's Frank who absolutely dominates in the end, winning his second POV of the week, saving himself yet again. You just can't get rid of that guy. It's damn impressive. Joe ends up being the replacement nominee, and gives the best speech ever. First, Ashley says she has a hard time articulating herself (yes knows the word articulate) and then Joe stands up and plays charades. He first gestures that he loves everyone, then points to Ashley, and indicates that she should be tossed out of the house. Funniest moment yet this season!

Ashley is sent packing from the house and you gotta feel bad for Frank. He is having the worst night in Big Brother history. In one episode, he lost Boogie and Ashley, as well as Ian as a trusted alliance member. He better win HOH or he'll find himself right back at his old stomping grounds, the block.

Find out who becomes the new HOH on Big Brother, Sunday at 8/7c on CBS.
