Big Brother 14: Week 4 Power of Veto Recap

Big Brother 14

Immediately following the nomination ceremony this week on Big Brother, Danielle brought Wil up to the HOH room and broke down. I thought Wil was going to raise hell's fury against her but he consoled her. Yeah, HE consoled HER - and he's on the block! Wil breaks down too, saying he feels alone in the game and that nobody likes him. Either he's really good at manipulating people or he has a self-esteem issue.

Boogie has been pissed since Danielle won HOH and hangs with Frank and nobody else. Dan pulls him into the food closet to try to convince him to work with him and the other coaches. "Why would I work with people who have done nothing but lie to me?" wonders Boogie. Fair enough. I don't know if I like older, sulky, jaded Boogie but I will respect his honesty.

Ian, Jenn, and Shane were picked to play in the veto competition, and along with the other three houseguests playing, had to land a ball on a baseball themed playing field and score the highest amount of points per round. Each round, the lowest person would be eliminated and pick a prize but a higher finishing player could swap for their prize. All that really matters is that Ian chose to live a dog's life for a day, Frank has to wear a spiritard (which is exactly what it sounds like, BB fans), and Danielle won the Power of Veto. HOH and POV for Danielle in the same week? I'm starting to think she's been underestimated...

No sooner do Britney, Shane, Danielle, and Dan make a final five deal with Ian that they have a separate meeting with Frank and Boogie and declare themselves The Silent Six. No matter which alliance is meeting, one thing is clear: everybody wants Janelle out. At the veto ceremony, Danielle uses the Power of Veto to save Wil and blindsides Janelle by throwing her on the block to backdoor her Thursday night.

Is Danielle suddenly the most dangerous player in the house? She's got Dan, Britney, and Shane on her side. She's working with Frank and Boogie, has Ian thinking he's in an alliance with her (is he?), and just saved Wil from being another pawn who goes home. Tack on her two victories this week and I'm wondering if the coaches aren't the biggest problem in this Big Brother house.

Find out who leaves the Big Brother house, Thursday at 9/8c on CBS.
