Big Brother 14

Following last night's episode of Big Brother, I'm still scratching my head over why Dan told Boogie that Frank was two seconds away from getting blindsided and sent home when Julie saved the day by announcing that the coaches were officially in the game. WHY would you tell him that? Dan thought it was a good idea to earn Boogie's trust, but how are you earning his trust when you're telling him something after the fact? You knew something and didn't tell him until it wasn't relevant anymore and now, you wanna be in an alliance together? Not his smartest move to date, that's for sure.

Speaking of dumb moves, during the HOH competition, once Boogie and Frank drop, they disappear inside the house together to talk game instead of feigning interest in the outcome. When Ian tries to strike a deal with Danielle to get her to drop, Dan goes in supercoach overdrive mode and starts yelling at her, "You don't make the deal! You set the deal!" Yeah, he gets a little carried away sometimes but the man has a point. Danielle hangs in there, promising to keep Ian and (of course) Britney safe and boom! We have our first female HOH of the season. Shane, who said last week he didn't want a showmance, changes his mind and plants a big kiss on her to celebrate her victory.

Wil confronts Danielle to ensure that he's safe, reminding her that she promised he would be when he dropped down from the HOH competition. Her way of reassuring him? "Oh yeahhhhh..." as if she didn't remember the deal at all or have any intentions of keeping her word. She's going to need a better poker face. On a side note, Wil has the best read on everyone in the house from what I can tell. Besides the fact that he's not easily charmed, he knows Big Brother and these coaches inside and out.

Boogie continues to be pissed off, probably because now he actually has to do something and complains to Frank about how he hates Danielle and refuses to kiss ass. He fully expects to be nominated. He's Mike Boogie, after all! So imagine his surprise when, at the nomination ceremony, his key is the last to be pulled and he's safe, while Frank and Wil are on the block. He's thoroughly insulted that he was given his key but what he should be is thoroughly worried because this makes it all the easier to backdoor him if that's what Danielle feels like doing.
