It's time for seven more strangers to move into a house and go through some major ups and downs together. The Real World: St. Thomas has arrived - and could they have picked a more amazing location?! Let's get to know the roomies a little better, shall we?
Name: Robb
Age: 21
First impression: Ginger with serious basketball skills and a pretty mellow personality, but clips from later in the season say otherwise
Name: Marie
Age: 23
First impression Party girl with no filter and a mean streak in her sense of humor
Name: LaToya
Age: 22
First impression: Fun-loving diva who isn't easily charmed by pickup lines
Name: Trey
Age: 22
First impression: Seems like the most down-to-earth of the bunch but gets offended easily
Name: Brandon
Age: 24
First impression: A guy with a tough upbringing and excited for new experiences, artistic and a bit of a loner
Name: Swift
Age: 22
First impression: Confident charmer who makes friends wherever he goes
Name: Laura
Age: 23
First impression: Former ugly duckling who loves to flirt and has a habit of being too nice to guys
Now, The Real World is known for coming up with some jaw-dropping places to live but this season, the roomies have their own island. Literally!
The minute they hit the house, the alcohol starts flowing and some start getting googly eyed for one another (sort of). Brandon is checking our Laura, Laura has eyes for Trey, Marie and Robb have some weird flirty thing going on, and Swift tries to show off his moves which don't impress LaToya that much.
Brandon feels a little different than the guys around him. Robb, Swift, and Trey talk about hanging out in the gym and each pair off with the girls, while he sits outside and draws. He definitely had a tougher life than the other six - besides coming from a poor area of Boston, he's a recovering drug addict, with scars on his arms that are "exactly what you think they're from" as he puts it.
That being said, Laura does put out a major effort to let him feel comfortable around her as friends but he's already falling for her. Dude, it's the first night. When Brandon vents to Robb about not being the all American boy like Trey, unfortunately for him, Trey overhears him. The two hash out their differences and Brandon admits to being jealous. Here's hoping this doesn't become an issue between the two all season.
It's not over yet. Trey goes through Brandon's journal, and shows it to Laura and Swift. Yeah, the stuff in there is dark and unnerving but should they be going through his stuff?
