Hell's Kitchen Season 10

by Todd Betzold

The screen flashed "To Be Continued" last night on Hell's Kitchen and we were left wondering: Would Danielle, Guy or Patrick get eliminated from Hell's Kitchen? Tonight, we pick up where things left off from last night and Chef Ramsay about to eliminate a chef from the competition.

With Patrick, Danielle and Guy left to be eliminated, Chef Ramsay sends Patrick back in line, so it is Danielle or Guy now. Danielle is eliminated and Guy is safe, so one less woman and now Dana is a crying mess and worried she is targeted next by Kimmie, Tiffany and Robyn. For the Blue Team, Royce calls out Patrick for being slow and old and he wants to be the new leader for the Blue Team. Sidenote: do they all smoke on this show? Either they are cooking or smoking, what the hell??? Clemenza said they all need to step up and just win.

A new day and time for the next challenge. Chef Ramsay says that food changes like fashion. The 1950s had Jell-O molds and TV dinners, the 1970s had fondue, the 1990s had Asian Fusion. Just like in food, there are trends in fashion and it is Fashion Night in Hell's Kitchen. The next challenge will be judged by some guest fashion designers/judges: David Meister, Amanda Che and Ina Soltani. Each team will produce one stunning appetizer and two entrees fit for fashionistas and their guests. One entrée is seafood and the other is poultry. The judges are looking for colorful, healthy, spicy and flavorful. The winning dishes will be featured during dinner service tonight.

As Justin and Brian work together to create the Blue Team's appetizer, Dana takes charge of the Red Team's appetizer. Clemenza, Guy and Royce are working together on the swordfish entrée. For the Red Team, Robyn and Kimmie aren't working well together well for the fish dish, which Robyn is going with Sea Bass, even though David said he likes swordfish. Robyn tells Kimmie to keep it simple with the spices, again even though the judges said spicy. Tiffany gets to work on the poultry dish.

As time is running out, Guy is struggling to get the potatoes down and ready. The Red Team has all their plates down as the Blue Team struggles at the end, but gets their plates out. Time to be judged: the appetizers are Justin and Dana. For the Blue Team, they said it is not visually appealing. Chef Ramsay said it looks like vomit on a plate. They said it not appealing. They said it is sweet and bland. For the Red Team, they said it is visually clumsy and not the most appealing color. The taste is interesting. The Red Team wins and one point for them.

Now time for the poultry dish, so Dana and Patrick bring their dishes up. For the Blue Team, they said it is interesting, but no kick in it. They like it, but don't love it. For the Red Team and she made a fried dish, which is not healthy at all. They said it doesn't look chic or modern. They said it is nice, but greasy. They, of course, choose the Blue Team and we are tied 1-1.

It all comes down to the fish dish and it is Robyn and Guy. For the Blue Team, they love the mussels and clams. They said it was delicious, but need to simplify the presentation, even though Ina fell for Guy and giving him googly eyes. For the Red Team, they said it needs to be more visually appealing. It has no spices and no kick. The vote was split and the Blue Team is the winner.

For winning, the Blue Team will be given a couple grand to spend at a boutique in Malibu, get new outfits and then spend the afternoon wine tasting in Malibu. For losing, the Red Team will be transforming the restaurant into something chic and stunning. The Blue Team goes shopping, while the Red Team puts the runway together for the dining room. Robyn volunteers to screw the runway together, while the others all carry in the huge runway parts.

As their tensions run high putting the runway together, the Red Team decides to blow off some steam and they each take their own turn on the catwalk! Meanwhile, the Blue Team head to their wine tasting and after eight glasses of wine they are all feeling good. Now Tiffany shows off her womanly side, as she rips ass for all of America to see. So, the women start going after each other on the Red Team as they all question Kimmie's strength on the team, which is fine for Tiffany because they aren't focusing on the fact that she deep fried the eggplant.

Clemenza wakes up early and decides that everyone should be up early and get started on the menu for the new dinner service. Meanwhile, Robyn still wants to discuss the issue with Kimmie, but Kimmie doesn't want to and walks out of the kitchen and starts beating on a punching bag...these women are crazy!

It is time for dinner service and the first Fashion Night in Hell's Kitchen history and Chef Ramsay said that timing is key tonight, so one person will be helping him plate tonight. For the Red Team it is Kimmie and for the Blue Team it is Royce. The kitchen is not open yet and Clemenza starts cooking the scallops to get an early start. Chef Ramsay catches him and calls him out on it and asks if he wants to leave now? And of course...dun dun dun..."To Be Continued."
