With only four singers left on American Idol each and every performance is crucial...you gotta be in it to win it! It was clearly seen last night who wants this and who doesn't and tonight's vote should show it as well.

We start out the show with Ryan Seacrest trying to be Oprah and giving everyone in the audience tickets to one of the shows for the Top 10 summer tour...great, they get to see a live show and then get free tickets to a concert. The Top 4 kick off the show singing "California Dreamin'" by The Mamas & The Papas...fun fun...get to the results.

We take a look at the Top 4 Ford music video before we get to some results...up first is Phillip Phillips. Jimmy Iovine thought it was a night for Phillip where he discovered who he was as a singer...he'd sign him to a contract based on his second song. The nation has voted and Ryan sends him back to the couch to see what happens...why did he freakin' call him over? Now he calls up Hollie Cavanagh...Jimmy said the Journey song was a benefit to her because it is meant to be over-the-top and said she lost out to the other three singers with her Bonnie Raitt song. He sends Hollie back to the couch as well.

We get our first guest performance of the night...David Cook, winner of Season 7, hits the stage singing his new single, "The Last Song I'll Write For You"...good times. Back to the results...Ryan calls up Joshua Ledet. Jimmy said his first song didn't work because he put the gospel twist on it and it doesn't work every time (thank you Jimmy...finally someone not talk Joshua up) and then he loved his second song and said best ever on Idol. Ryan sends Joshua back to the coach and the calls up Jessica Sanchez. Jimmy says she did great on the song, but did too much impersonating on the song and then her second song was flawless and he has no clue who will win this season...back to the coach for Jessica.

Now time for Jennifer Lopez to hit the stage and perform her new single, "Dance Again." She is sexy and I do love this song...she brought out the girls tonight that is for sure.

We come back and we have the Top 4 all on the stage with Ryan...we get some final words from the judges on all four of the singers and the growth they have shown throughout the season...blah blah...get to the results! Dim the lights....the first one safe and headed back to her hometown next week for a visit is Jessica Sanchez. The next one safe is Joshua Ledet. That leaves us with Phillip and Hollie...it better be Hollie going home! After a commercial break, the person safe is Phillip...headed home tonight (finally) is Hollie!
