The Voice Season 2

Man oh man, I am not happy for tonight...the semifinals elimination show for The Voice. The Top 8 took the stage last night and tonight we find out which four will move on to the finals...that's right, four move on and four go home...ugh!

America's votes plus the coaches' vote combined will send one singer home from each team and will move one singer on to next week's finals. We start out by taking a look back at last night's performances and then get some words from the coaches before last year's runner-up, Dia Frampton, takes the stage singing her single, "Don't Kick The Chair." I loved her last year and still do.

Time for results...up first is Team Christina...Lindsey Pavao and Chris Mann. We first get to see what Christina voted...she gave them each 50 points, so she leaves it up to America to decide who moves on to the finals for her team. After America's votes, the totals are 104-96 in favor of Chris, so he will be moving on and Lindsey will be heading home...he has a big following and I think his Mann Fans might be strong enough to win it all.

Another performance from last year's Top 4, as Vicci Martinez takes the stage to sing her single, "Come Along," and joining her on stage is her coach, Cee Lo...she is so fun.

Back to the results...now time for Team Adam...Katrina Parker and Tony Lucca. For Adam's vote, he gave 60 to Tony and 40 to Katrina...Adam felt like he connected more with Tony and could lead him to the finals, so that's why he voted the way he did. He would give Katrina the most improved award and that she is incredible. After adding in America's votes, the totals are 108-92 in favor of Tony, so Tony will be moving on (with Adam's help) and Katrina is headed home (she did win America's vote 52-48, which is shocking).

Another performance, this time it is Beverly McClellan, another finalist from last season, takes the stage singing her single, "Money Changes Everything," with Cyndi Lauper joining her...rock it out, but Cyndi started out rough on this one.

Let's stall the results a little bit more, so we will have Season 1 winner, Javier Colon, come out and sing his newest single, "A Drop In The Ocean." He has such an amazing voice...love it.

Back to the results...now time for Team Blake...Erin Willett and Jermaine Paul (this is a hard one for me, because I love Erin and Jermaine, but Jermaine will be moving on). For Blake's vote, he goes the 50-50 route as well. He said they both deserve it and he doesn't want to be a part of the decision making process. After America's votes are added in, the totals are 123-77 in favor of Jermaine, so Jermaine will be moving on and Erin is headed home, but not before telling Blake they should get drunk to celebrate her birthday today...love it!

Now to the results I definitely do not want to see or hear...time for Team Cee Lo...Jamar Rogers and Juliet Simms. I love both of them, so I don't want either of them to go home...they should both move on...bring on the tears. For Cee Lo's vote, he gave 60 to Juliet and 40 to Jamar. He said that Juliet's performance last night was so strong last night, so he had to be critical in his vote. After adding in America's votes, the totals are 121-79 in favor of Juliet, so she will be moving on and Jamar Rogers will be heading home...so sad!

To sum it up, the four finalists for next week are Chris Mann for Team Christina, Tony Lucca for Team Adam, Jermaine Paul for Team Blake and Juliet Simms for Team Cee Lo...this is gonna be good!
