It has been two weeks in a row of some shocking results on American Idol...first America sent home Jessica Sanchez (only to be saved by the judges) and last week America sent home Colton Dixon...what does America have up their sleeves this week?

We start out with a band making their debut, The Queen Extravaganza, and then a look at their music video and the Top 6's trip to TMZ to get some media training...it was funny to watch. Now time for some results...first up, Jessica Sanchez and Elise Testone...Jimmy said Jessica is clever and has a lot of talent, which is a great combo and he said Elise made two wrong song choices, but is a great singer. Jessica is safe...Elise is first one in the bottom three tonight.

Now time for a performance from Season 10 contestant, Stefano...it was a fun song. Back to the results...up next is Joshua Ledet and Hollie Cavanagh...Jimmy said he thought it was as good as Hollie could do, but hoped it was not too little too late...Jimmy thought Joshua was amazing and if he gets voted off there is something wrong with the voting. Joshua is safe...Hollie joins Elise in the bottom three.

Katy Perry takes the stage and puts on an over-the-top performance...I don't think she can sing well live, so funny to see her performing on this show. Now back to the results...we have Skylar Laine and Phillip Phillips. Jimmy thought Skylar got knocked out with the second song and he said Phillip has been sick and you could tell in his performances...he left an opening for someone else to be in the finals last night. Phillip is safe...Skylar is in the bottom three.

So, the bottom three this week are Elise, Hollie and Skylar. Ryan makes it a quick and sends Skylar to safety, so now we have a bottom two of Hollie and Elise...which one will go home? After 58 million votes, the person leaving the competition tonight is Elise...Hollie is safe. I don't know how she keeps doing it, but Hollie keeps surviving every week...ticking me off!
