The Celebrity Apprentice Season 5

by Todd Betzold

Tonight, we get to see Arsenio vs. Aubrey Round 2 on The Celebrity Apprentice and this time I think one of them will not walk out of their alive, as the previews show it gets pretty ugly.

After the boardroom, Lisa vows to be nice to Dayana this week...we'll see if it happens. Then Arsenio is upset to see Aubrey and Teresa come back, so it may be a struggle for him this week. Then we get to Lisa deliver her winning check to her charity...I want her to win more!

Trump meets the celebrities in his apartment to find out the next task: creating an in-store display and slogan for his new fragrance, "Success by Trump," exclusively launching at Macy's. They will be judged on creativity, brand messaging and in-store display presentation. George Ross is back as an advisor to trump...the old man is still around. The project managers this week are Clay for Team Forte and Aubrey for Team Unanimous. The winning project manager will get $20,000, but if they do something Trump really loves he will increase it to $100,000.

Team Forte meets and Penn comes up with an idea for the task, which Clay questions on why he didn't step up and be project manager. They go with Penn's idea and Dayana wants to be in it and have everyone naked...will this help sell cologne? Maybe. For Team Unanimous, Aubrey and Arsenio argue over what the word success means. Arsenio wants money and Aubrey wants something more complex.

The executive from Macy's and Trump organization meet with Team Forte and tell them more women buy fragrance, but a very specific male that is comfortable buying his own fragrance. When they meet with Team Unanimous, Aubrey seems to be running the show and not asking questions...it's your time to get opinions and ideas from the big people. The executives sit back and kind of sit awkwardly by as she talks.

Team Forte tries to come up with ideas for the display and the slogan. Penn comes up with "You Earned It" and they seem to like it, but Clay is hesitant to use the first idea they come up with. Penn then comes up with an idea for the display and Clay thinks he just comes up with the idea and then drills it home until they use it.

Team Unanimous comes up with "Trust Your Instincts," which Aubrey kind of comes up with and then Arsenio finds a quote online of Trump saying those exact words, so they are excited to use his words in the slogan. She then pitches more and more ideas and seems to throw aside the ideas of anyone on her team. Aubrey then wants to take photos of Eric Trump to use as a young Trump before he became a huge success. They are using a skyline in their display, so they stop and take a picture of the skyline...Aubrey hops up on Arsenio's shoulders to do it...he thought about flipping her backwards off his shoulders haha.

The teams head to the warehouses to get their displays worked on and meet with the construction guys. Clay is struggling with seeing the final display as it would look, but they seem to be working together very well. Aubrey then gets Eric to agree with the picture for their display and then sends Teresa and Arsenio out to get materials for their display, so she is there all alone...if she loses she is so fired. Arsenio is getting so angry with her...it is going to blow up in the boardroom.

Now it is time for Dayana to take the pictures with the model for the display. She does very well and Lisa is working with her very well. Meanwhile, Teresa keeps calling from store asking questions which annoy Aubrey. Eric then arrives and Aubrey takes the pictures and then she goes on to bash both of them and that Arsenio and Teresa have done nothing on this task and thought of nothing creative.

Dayana comes up with an idea of having a card to give the customers as well, but Clay says they don't have time to make them. For Team Unanimous, Teresa starts helping with the painting in her skirt and pumps...get it girl. With the teams working in the same warehouse, just on opposites sides of a partition, Lisa decides to go sneak a peek at the other teams look because she is a little worried about what Aubrey has come up with...she reports back that it is very similar to theirs, so Clay is worried about not having a hands-up on creativity.

It's the day of the presentation...Team Unanimous sees their display and loves it...Aubrey gets bossy and ordering people around, which is normal. They do have cards to give out to people, which Clay didn't do so it could be a plus for their teams. Team Forte sees their display and loves it as well...theirs is way catchier, but you never know.

George comes in and talks with Team Unanimous...he was very business-like and he didn't say much. He said the silhouette of Eric was not good for the display. Aubrey, of course, thinks he said all positive things and they are going to do great.

It's presentation time: Team Unanimous is up first and Aubrey starts out with the talking...she brings in Arsenio with an inappropriate joke which the executives have no expression for. Teresa joins later and they give out pamphlets and "success sticks" with the fragrance, so that will help them. Team Forte does their presentation and Clay talks and is very brief and it gets awkward, but then he adds more to his presentation and makes it a little better...they were not good at all, but display looked better. The executives loved Aubrey, their slogan and the scent strip and thought the display was lacking creativity. For Team Forte, they loved the display and the brand messaging and were blown away when they walked in, but they didn't like the slogan and had to search for the slogan in the display.

Time for the boardroom: Clay said they were all very good and Lisa said that Clay is one of the best project managers that she has worked for and that Dayana was phenomenal. Aubrey says that their team was amazing and worked well together...this will change soon. They get a chance to look at each other's displays and Lisa is envious of the card and scent strip.

Now time for the fighting...Aubrey says it was her ideas for most of it. Teresa said when Aubrey comes up with an idea she owns it and doesn't back down. Arsenio says that he doesn't like to be minimized. He says he found the slogan for the team online, to which Aubrey steps up and says she said it to the team before he found the video...here come the claws. It didn't get that bad, as Aubrey said she stated it before and Arsenio kept it quiet.

Because Trump did not love either of the displays, but he did like things from both of them, so he will not be giving out the $100,000 like he said he would if he loved it. Instead, he will give the winning project manager $40,000 then each of the remaining seven will get $10,000 for their charity since he thought they all did great...that is a great thing! After all that, the winning team tonight is Team Unanimous, so Aubrey is a winner...watch out, her head just got bigger.

Now time for Team Forte to fight it out...I think Penn is going home because of the slogan. The slogan gets brought up, Clay's leadership qualities, Dayana and the size of the picture. They all seem to be not wanting to blame each other for the loss. Clay will bring back Penn and Dayana, so Lisa remains safe for another week!

So, who is it going to be? Penn who came up with the slogan that they hated or Clay who was project manager that approved it. They question why they didn't make a display and then question Dayana on why he should not fire her because this is the sixth time in the boardroom for her. Clay said it's surprising that he has the bigger balls of the two of them because he took on the task that Penn said he couldn't. Dayana and Penn say to fire Clay as project manager. Trump wants to fire Dayana, but he can't...he wants to fire Clay for being the project manager, but he won't...he fires Penn for coming up with the slogan that the executives hated...I think Clay is going to win it all...him or Lisa (and that may be the battle in the finale...what do you all think)?
