Last night on American Idol, we saw the Top 12 go down to Top 11 without even anyone singing yet when Jermaine Jones was sent home for not disclosing his criminal history to the producers. To build the drama, Fox waited until mid-way through the show to let us know who got kicked off and then show the video from the camera that just happened to be filming the whole thing.

Anyway, the show must go on and someone will be eliminated tonight. So, who is going to make the Top 10 and get to tour the country this summer? We had some really great performances last night (Joshua Ledet blew me away and Phillip Phillips is downright amazing with his style and voice) and we had some boring and not-so-good performances (Shannon Magrane and DeAndre Brackensick), but it is up to America's vote to see who will be sent home tonight.

On that note, here are my predictions for how the vote will go tonight. America always votes not as expected, but I am hoping they get it right tonight. For the bottom three, I think it will be DeAndre Brackensick, Shannon Magrane and Erika Van Pelt. Of that group, Erika is the only one I think doesn't deserve bottom three, but I don't think she has the voting block and appeal as the other singers. I thought her performance was great, but I don't think she will have the votes to stay out of the bottom three. However, she will be the first one safe, leaving us with DeAndre and Shannon as the bottom two...which one will go home? My guess is on Shannon. She took on two powerful artists the first two weeks of the competition with Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey and she just bored me...I think it is time for her to move on.
