Survivor: One World

At this point in the game of Survivor, Colton must think he's on top of the world. Meanwhile, the ladies of the Salani tribe are feelin' pretty good about themselves since they seem to have it way more together than the men of Manono. But in the game of Survivor, you can never get too comfortable. Before the reward challenge gets underway, Jeff utters three words that strike fear in the hearts of some and foster a renewed sense of hope in others: Drop your buffs.

The new Salani tribe members are Michael, Sabrina, Kat, Jay, Kim, Chelsea, and Troyzan. The new Manono tribe is comprise of Tarzan, Colton, Christina, Alicia, Monica, Leif, and Jonas. Salani seems pretty stacked!

For the challenge, teams have to fill a bucket with holes with water and run it across an obstacle course to fill a larger bucket. The winning tribe gets PB&J sandwiches and coffee with sugar, and they also get to stay on their beach. The losing tribe will have to leave the camp they've called home thus far and find a new beach to set up shop at. Manono gets off to a rough start with Monica falling not once, but twice. They come back and come close to winning but Salani fills their bucket first!

Things go very well over at the Salani camp. The newly formed tribe not only had sandwiches and coffee, but caught four crabs and a chicken as well! A new alliance formed between Jay, Tarzan, and Kim and it seems Michael may be the first target should they lose. Kim also finds the idol and shares her newfound power with Chelsea, her secret partner in crime.

Over at the new Manono camp, Colton pulls in the girls but it looking to bounce Christina first. Jonas is understandably wary of Colton, feeling like he's going to turn on him. If Manono knows what's good for them, they'll blindside Colton the first chance they get. It seems they'll get their chance soon - this tribe cannot get it together when it comes to camp life, so I have a hard time believing they'll dominate a challenge.

Which brings us to tonight's immunity challenge, and it's a physical one - a game of water basketball. It's clear that Salani has more manpower, and Michael tosses people left and right to get to the basket. At one point, Leif just resorted to splashing to try to stop him. Monica brings Manono back into the game by scoring, and in the last round, I think Jay and Michael were slightly trying to drown Colton for the ball. Thanks largely in part to Michael, the Salani tribe wins immunity.

How quickly people are willing to turn on their tribe members in order to save themselves. Alicia and Colton team up in the hopes of blindsiding Monica at tribal council. They lead Christina to believe it's going to be Tarzan and there's not so much of a whisper of sending Colton home.  Most of tribal council is filled with Tarzan's comments out of left field such as, "I shan't say because the game is afoot!"  He escapes elimination as the Manono tribe carries out their plan and blindsides Monica.
