Survivor: One World - Episode 2 Recap

Following tribal council (where no one was voted out), the ladies of Survivor: One World have decided that they need a leader and that leader is Sabrina. It's become clear, though, that the Salani tribe is divided between the younger women and the older. The problem for the older women is that they're outnumbered so they're going to need a new strategy, besides complaining about immaturity, and quick!

Probst must be busy because the reward challenge is a do-it-yourself one. You heard me. They're just untying rope knots on their own beach in order to win a tarp. The men untie theirs first but I can't help but feel empty inside without the sight of Jeff throwing his hands in the air and yelling, "Manono... wins... reward!"

If Colton is going to make it past the first few tribal councils, he's going to need to work on his social game. Besides the fact that the guys have noticed that all he does is hang out at Salani's camp, he's been very needy and dramatic with the girls. He cries and begs to stay at Salani but Sabrina and Kim shut him out and say that it would be stupid on their part to let someone from the opposing tribe live among them. Truth. Kick rocks, Colton.

Back at Manono's side of the beach, Colton makes the only play he can and shows the idol to Troyzan, Tarzan, Jonas, and Leif. Suddenly, his stock in this game just went way, way up. On a side note, it hurts a little that I have to keep referring to grown men as Tarzan and Troyzan.

Jeff returns in all his hosty glory for the immunity challenge. Tribes make their way across an unnecessarily narrow beam, and must go around one another, to reach a platform. The men absolutely dominate the challenge, getting everyone across while the women could only get one person to the finish line.

Back at camp, Kat immediately takes responsibility for the loss and apologizes for having bad communication skills at the immunity challenge. However, Nina is being referred to as "the walking dead" and a "bag of rocks". Since she's not showing a passion for being there, her name is thrown around for elimination as well.

As tribal, Jeff calls it like he sees it, calling the tribe totally dysfunctional and saying they act like middle schoolers. Refusing to lay down and die, Nina calls out Kat for her lack of life experience, basically saying that she brings nothing to the game.  Once she wipes her tears, Kat tries throwing Christina under the bus and convince people to vote for her instead.  When the votes are read, the decision by Salani is to send Nina out of the game.  Who would you have voted out?
