The Top 12 put it all out there on last night's The X Factor, but one of them has to go home tonight...find out who after you read through this recap.
They start out singing a group song, which seemed weird and maybe a lip-synced performance? Leroy Bell seemed a little slow to the mic, but words were still coming out...was it just my television?
So, here is how it works: the top 10 vote getters from America's votes are safe and move on to next week. The bottom two will sing again for survival, then the judges will decide which one will go home.
A look back at last night's show and then a performance by Outasight with "Tonight Is The Night," the Pepsi commercial song, before we finally get some results...it is still on Fox, so you have to expect them to drag it out.
Thirty minutes into the show and we finally get to meet the Top 12. It is time to announce the ten acts America voted through: Marcus Candy, Drew, Leroy Bell, Astro, Lakoda Rayne, Rachel Crow, Chris Rene, Josh Krajcik, Melanie Amaro and Stacy Francis. That leaves us with two groups in the bottom two: The Stereo Hogzz and Intensity.
They each choose a song to sing for survival and the judges decide who will move on to next week and which one will go home. Up first to sing are The Stereo Hogzz and they sing like I have enjoyed them all season...very good. I wasn't a fan of their performance last night, but this won me back.
Intensity gets their chance to prove themselves and they do a decent job, but I have never been one to like this group. There are just too many kids on the stage for me and no one taught them choreography for these songs, so they just stood in a glob to me.
Now time for the judges to say whom they are sending home and if a tie, they go to deadlock and whoever got lowest number of votes
from America goes home. Simon votes The Stereo Hogzz, Paula votes Intensity, Nicole votes Intensity and L.A. votes Intensity, so Intensity will be going home.
The X Factor airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8/7c on Fox.
