It's all about the kids and art classes on tonight's episode of Work Of Art: The Next Great Artist.

 

The artists hit the studio to start the show and sitting at each of their stations are kids...they are taking over!

 

China Chow and Sarah Jessica Parker, who will serve as guest judge this week, arrive in the studio to announce the next challenge. The children are students who participate in Studio In The School programs in NYC and have brought the latest piece they have done. The challenge is for the artists to create a piece that compliments the artwork of the child they are paired with.

 

The artists get some time with the kids to discuss the piece and decide what they will be doing before heading out to shop. Sucklord shows off his soft side while dealing with the children...such a nice guy haha.

 

The artists get back from their shopping and get started on their piece. Dusty, an art teacher, feels he is at an advantage since he works with children every day. Lola is not inspired by her child's piece, so has no clue what she is going to do right now. Meanwhile, Young Sun is creating a piece where he will be a birdman and strips to his underwear t snap some pictures for his piece.

 

Michelle, who always has darkness and death in her pieces, may struggle with this challenge and working with the kid's art. Sara J. is struggling because at that age her parents got divorced, so she is trying to relate the words her child used in her piece to her own childhood and it makes her cry. Tewd is trying to compliment the picture of vegetables with some cement blocks spelling out "grow" and having plants growing from them.

 

Simon comes in for his studio visit. He is not feeling Sara's piece and thinks the child's piece may overshadow hers. Bad critiques for Lola, as well, but she is used to that and seems to pull it through in the end.

 

He continues his negative critiques before announcing that the winner's piece will be auctioned off by Simon and all the profits will be donated to Studio In The School. The winner will not only get all the eyes on their piece at the auction, but will also get immunity for next week.

 

It's the day of the gallery show, so all the artists are trying to finish their piece before time runs out. Frantic running around and work being down before Simon comes in to bring them to the gallery.

 

Time for the gallery show, as we meet the judges again: Jerry, Bill, China and Sarah Jessica Parker. And of course, the judges have mixed reactions as they go through the gallery. However, all the kids seem to love the piece the artists have created from their original piece.

 

Now time to see who wins and who will be going home. The judges announce they would like to speak with Sucklord, Tewz, Sara J., Kamiah and Dusty. The two favorite pieces are from Dusty and Kamiah, but the winner of the auction and immunity is Kamiah.

 

That leaves Sara J., Sucklord and Tewz in the bottom three. They each get to defend their piece, with Sara J. breaking down and being an emotional mess about her piece. Sucklord proceeds to defend the piece of Tewz and said it was beautiful...shocking. The judges discuss and decide that Tewz will be headed home.

 

Work Of Art: The Next Great Artist airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
