Things get started on tonight's elimination episode of So You Think You Can Dance with a jazz routine, set to a song from Pixar's "The Incredibles". I don't know if I'm alone in this but this was, by far, my least favorite group routine of the season thus far. No offense, Michael Rooney.

The kissing couple, Melanie and Marko, are the first to find out that they're safe. Unfortunately, the same isn't true for Ashley and Chris, who will be dancing for their lives later. Also safe this week are: Ryan and Ricky, Jordan and Tadd, and Sasha and Alexander. Unfortunately for them, Robert and Miranda find out that they're the second couple in danger this week. The last couple to be deemed safe is Jes and Clarice, while Caitlynn and Mitchell face possible elimination.

Axis Dance Company, which includes members with and without disabilities, performed next. Dancers Sonsheree Giles and Rodney Bell were absolutely fantasic!

For their solos, Ashley combined beautiful femininity and power, Chris gave us tricks and hard hits, and Miranda continued to prove that she's a fighter with her emotionally packed routine. Robert was fun and energetic (as always), Caitlynn felt very much equal to Ashley, and Mitchell tried to leave it all on the dance floor... but it felt a little flat.

Prediction: Caitlynn and Mitchell will be leaving.

While the judges deliberate, ballroom world champions Eric Luna and Georgia Ambarian perform to the soundtrack from "Pirates of the Caribbean". Their lifts were crazy - if you didn't see this performance, YouTube it. My mouth is still on the floor from it. No wonder they're the champs...

After the break, Nigel reveals that it will be Miranda and Robert leaving.  Is it me or are the judges not totally invested in every dancer?  Nigel confused Chris with Robert, bringing up the woodpecker routine to him (which he wasn't in) and last night, Mary forgot Caitlynn's name.  What is going on?
