The Voice: Finale

by Todd Betzold

And the winner of The Voice is... keep reading, I'll tell you eventually!

After a recap of last night's show and a look at the top four performers visit to Jay Leno, Vicci Martinez hits the stage first for Team CeeLo as she gets to sing with one of her favorites Pat Monahan from Train as they sing Train's "Drops of Jupiter." Then one last lovey-dovey speech from CeeLo to Vicci.

The next duet is from Team Adam as Javier joins forces with the legendary Stevie Nicks singing Fleetwood Mac's song, "Landslide." And we get our first tears from a judge, as Adam gives his final thoughts to Javier and gets a little moist in the eyes.

Team Christina is the next duet to hit the stage, as Beverly McClellan teams up with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder singing OneRepublic's "Good Life." Christina gives her last speech to Beverly and then thanks the other coaches for being like big brothers to her during this process.

Last up is Team Blake, as Dia Frampton takes the stage with Blake's wife country superstar Miranda Lambert to sing Miranda's song "The House That Built Me." And my tears come from Blake's speech to Dia. As he explains why over the past two weeks he's gotten so emotional when he talks about Dia, he realized during that duet is that she is family to him now....so touching.

They are all done with the duets and now it is time to announce the winner. The top two artists, coming within 2% of each other, are Dia and Javier as we say goodbye to Beverly and Vicci.

After dragging out the results for an hour, but not as bad as two hours like other shows tend to do, Carson Daly announces that The Voice is Javier Colon!
